The BTS members are talented singers and dancers. When they had to choose between singing or dancing, though, the artists in this K-pop group were pretty split on their favorite pastime.

Each BTS member dances for songs like ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Butter’

They’re the award-winning artists behind songs like “Permission to Dance,” “Life Goes On,” “Butter,” and “Dynamite.” BTS features seven members, each of them known for their talent, unique personality, and philanthropy.

BTS has an official vocal line (Jungkook, Jimin, Jin, and V) and a rap line (Suga, J-Hope, and RM). However, all seven play a role in the complex BTS choreography.

When asked who learns choreography the fastest during one interview, RM said that it’s probably V, Jimin, or J-Hope. When it comes to who learns the choreography the slowest, while some of the members shouted out Jin, RM said that it’s usually himself

Which BTS members prefer singing to dancing?

For one TikTok video, the BTS members played the “balance game,” where they had to choose between two options by walking to the left or the right. When it came to meat all day or flour all day during travels, most of these artists chose protein.

When it came to singing all day or dancing all day, these artists were pretty split. Jin chose to sing, as did Jimin, Jungkook, Suga, and V. (V even added a little singing riff with his selection.) The only two members who chose to dance all day were J-Hope and RM.

Fans often see J-Hope dancing all day, as this member is known for his killer moves showcased during the 2020 MMA performance of “Dynamite” and with the “Permission to Dance” choreography. RM is mostly known for his rapping skills, as well as his role as a songwriter and producer for BTS.

Each BTS member takes on unique roles within this boy band. Jin, as someone who is “Worldwide Handsome,” is BTS’ lead visual. Jungkook, as someone who is talented at pretty much everything, earned the nickname the “Golden Maknae.”

Several BTS members have dancing-related titles.

According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, “J-Hope and Jimin are the ‘main dancers’ of BTS. Jungkook functions as one of the ‘lead dancers,’ along with V.” Recently, each member has been given more dancing-related roles. That includes Suga with the “Permission to Dance” choreography and Jin during the “On” dance break.
