Several fans shared their excitement at the K-pop group’s return to the award show, this time with a nomination in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category. However, there’s still plenty of mystery surrounding BTS’ upcoming performance at the Grammy Awards.

Here are a few songs the group could perform at this award show.

BTS is performing at the 2021 Grammy Awards

They’ll light up the Grammy stage like dynamite. Just a few years prior to the award ceremony, BTS was announced as one of the performers at the Grammy Awards. This is in addition to the group’s nomination in the Best Pop Duo/Group Performance category for their summer 2020 release, “Dynamite.”

Other artists performing at the ceremony include Doja Cat, Billie Eilish, Miranda Lambert, Lil Baby, Dua Lipa, Chris Martin, John Mayer, Megan Thee Stallion, Maren Morris, Post Malone, Roddy Ricch, Harry Styles, and Taylor Swift.

The group may perform songs like ‘Dynamite’ or ‘Life Goes On’

Because “Dynamite” is BTS’ Grammy-nominated song, it makes sense that the group would perform this Billboard No. 1 song at the award ceremony. It also wouldn’t be the first time BTS performed the single live.

Although it was socially distanced, when BTS performed at the 2020 MTV VMAs, they chose their recently released single, “Dynamite.” When BTS performed at the American Music Awards, they showcased both “Life Goes On” and “Dynamite.”

When they had a chance to perform “B-Side” tracks for MTV Unplugged, the group chose songs from their 2020 album, Be (Deluxe Edition.) That includes “Blue & Grey,” co-written by V, and “Telepathy,” co-written and co-produced by Suga.

In the past, BTS performed at the Grammy Awards with Lil Nas X

BTS could collaborate with other artists for this upcoming Grammy performance. In 2020, BTS gave their first Grammy Award performance alongside Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus for the song “Old Town Road.” This marked a huge milestone for the K-pop group, as did 2019, where the group first presented an award.

“I grew up watching American award shows, so obviously we all know and I know the importance of the Grammys,” Suga said during an interview with Variety. “It’s a dream anyone working in music has.”

“[The Grammys] motivates us to work harder,” RM added. “As Suga said, if you are in music, the Grammy Awards are something that you cannot help but to look toward and set as an eventual goal.”

The Grammy Awards take place on March 14. Until then, the “Life Goes On” music video by BTS is now available for streaming on YouTube. The K-pop group’s deluxe album, titled Be, is available on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major streaming platforms.
