BTS performed Christmas carols. In the past, they shared holiday wishes with fans. During one interview, this award-winning K-pop group even mimicked an iconic scene from one Christmas movie.

Here’s what RM said about the holiday film, which is a “classic in Korea.”

The BTS members shared their love for the Christmas flick, ‘Home Alone 2: Lost in New York’

They’re the artists behind songs like “Boy With Luv,” “Life Goes On,” and “Dynamite.” Seven members make up BTS —  RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook. They’re known for selling out stadiums and interacting with fans on social media.

The BTS members also (virtually) celebrate holidays, like Christmas and BTS’ “Debut Day,” with fans. During one interview, members like J-Hope, RM, and Jin shared their love for a sequel to Home Alone.

As one of the world’s biggest boy bands, BTS traveled to New York City to promote Map of the Soul: 7 and its lead single, “On.” They appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, even riding on the subway.

The host asked what some of their first impressions were of New York and its public transportation. The group leader, RM, mentioned hot dogs and coffee with people rushing to get to business meetings.

“I love the movie Home Alone,” J-Hope said, referring to the sequel, Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Fallon started laughing.

“That’s a classic. That’s a classic in Korea,” RM added. The members each took turns doing the yelling face, popularized by Macaulay Culkin. When Fallon asked about their secret career aspirations, Jin said that he wanted to be an actor, again imitating the famous Home Alone face.

The BTS members performed Christmas songs like ‘Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town’ for holiday concerts

This wouldn’t be the only time the BTS members shared their love for the holiday season. The 2019 SBS Gayo Daejeon_Music Festival brought a holiday medley from the boy band.

Jungkook performed “O Holy Night.” V and Suga performed “Jingle Bell Rock.” All seven performers teamed up for a live performance of “Silent Night.”

In conjunction with the 2020 Disney Holiday Singalong, this K-pop group performed the holiday carol “Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town.” Suga was absent from this performance due to his shoulder surgery and subsequent recovery period. That same year, BTS shared a music video celebrating the December holiday.

The “Boy With Luv” music video is available on YouTube. Music by BTS, including their recently released album, Map of the Soul: 7, is available for streaming on Spotify, Apple Music, and most major platforms.
