BTS: V Recovered From COVID-19 and Has Ended His Quarantine
V of BTS has officially recovered from the coronavirus (COVID-19). Big Hit Music originally announced the BTS singer tested positive for the coronavirus in a Weverse post on Feb. 15. In a new Weverse announcement, Big Hit Music revealed that V’s quarantine has ended and he “has made a full recovery.”

In a Weverse post, Big Hit Music shared that V of BTS “made a full recovery” after testing positive for the coronavirus. The announcement was posted on Feb. 21 in the U.S. and on Feb. 22 in South Korea.
“We would like to inform you that BTS member V has made a full recovery from COVID-19 and his quarantine has concluded as of today, February 22,” Big Hit Music wrote on Weverse.
The statement continues, “V has been receiving treatment from home from Tuesday the 15th, and he is now able to return to his daily activities.”
The BTS singer did not have severe symptoms
In the Weverse post, Big Hit Music assured ARMY that V did not have severe symptoms while recovering from the coronavirus.
“V did not exhibit any particular symptoms during his quarantine. He had a slight fever when he first began treatment at home but has since made a full recovery,” the label wrote.
When Big Hit Music originally let fans know that V tested positive for the coronavirus, the label also shared that V had recently seen Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, and Jungkook. However, the members of BTS tested negative for the coronavirus.
“There was contact with the other members on Saturday the 12th, but everyone was wearing a mask, and there was no close contact. None of the BTS members other than V are presenting any symptoms, and everyone received negative results from the preemptive self-tests,” Big Hit Music wrote on Weverse on Feb. 15.
BTS fans are excited about V’s recovery
After Big Hit Music posted on Weverse, ARMY around the world celebrated the good news that V recovered from the coronavirus.
“Yay!! The announcement we’ve all been waiting for! This is the kind of news I want to see,” one fan wrote on Reddit. “Hope they all stay healthy now!”
“Now that’s the news we’ve been waiting to read! Glad to hear that he has made a full recovery and is now able to return to his activities,” wrote a Reddit user. “Hope they all remain healthy, we don’t want any more announcements like this in the near future!”
On March 10, March 12, and March 13, BTS will put on Permission to Dance On Stage – Seoul concerts. The concerts will have an in-person audience and will also be streamed online for fans. The March 12 concert will be shown in movie theaters around the world.
