BTS V’s ‘Crosswalk Concert’ Quotes Prove Kim Taehyung Could’ve Been a Comedian in Another Life
The BTS members showcase their silly sides on social media and during live streams. V even made a few jokes while BTS performed on The Late Late Show With James Corden’s “Crosswalk Concert” segment.
BTS, including ‘Snow Flower’ singer V, performed on ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’
BTS is one of the biggest boy bands in the world, stopping at a Harry Styles concert and The Late Late Show With James Corden during their visit to Los Angeles. In addition to answering questions in the studio, the BTS members performed some of their biggest hits in a busy crosswalk.
It was pretty dangerous and Corden offered up some questionable dance moves for members like J-Hope. V even cracked a few jokes during the YouTube clip, posted during December 2021.
BTS’ V had a few memorable moments during BTS’ Crosswalk concert
In addition to their appearance inside The Late Late Show With James Corden, BTS had a special performance planned for ARMYs. Corden explained that the boy band would be playing at the biggest venue of their careers, then pointing to a busy Los Angeles street.
“James,” V said to the host, tapping on Corden’s shoulder. “That is not a venue. That’s a crosswalk.”
Ahead of BTS’ performance in the crosswalk, Corden announced that he booked an opening act. That includes a three-piece jazz band that some of the K-pop idols danced to on the sidelines.
“Does this make any sense,” V asked the camera. “I don’t think so.”
Following their performance of “Dynamite,” Corden shouted for the members to bring the set pieces back to the sidewalk. Because he was running so quickly, V skidded on the ground to turn around. He and RM pulled a fake palm tree to safety.
Since its YouTube premiere, this video earned over 14 million views from ARMYs. The YouTube video of BTS’ “Butter” performance on The Late Late Show With James Corden garnered over 10 million views.
BTS appeared in a ‘Carpool Karaoke’ segment on ‘The Late Late Show with James Corden’
Previously, BTS appeared in a Carpool Karaoke segment with the late-night host. Because it was the promotional period for Map of the Soul: 7, the boy band jammed out to songs like “Black Swan” and “On,” in addition to already released hits like “MIC Drop.” They even went to one of Corden’s dance classes.
This also wouldn’t be the first (or the last) time V showcased his silly side to the BTS ARMY. During one Permission to Dance on Stage concert, the vocalist dressed as a character from Netflix’s Squid Game.
V posted a Twitter video of himself playing with a tiger puppet. Even with his recently created individual Instagram account, the “Snow Flower” singer shares silly pictures of his dog named Yeontan.
