What Happened to Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert After They Left Together on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’?
Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert created quite the buzz when they left Bachelor in Paradise midway through the sixth season. The couple instantly got together at the start of the summer spinoff. But given Miller-Keyes and Unglert’s brief breakup before their final exit, fans are constantly wondering how the reality stars are doing now. So here’s an update on the BIP alums.

In Bachelor in Paradise Season 6, Unglert broke up with Miller-Keyes on her birthday. Of course, the former Miss North Carolina USA was left heartbroken over Unglert’s decision. But she quickly started something new when Connor Saeli arrived.
Even so, Unglert eventually returned for Miller-Keyes. He asked her to leave together and she accepted. Then in an interview with Ben Higgins and Ashley Iaconetti’s Almost Famous podcast from May 2020, Miller-Keyes revealed how she really felt about her relationship with Unglert when they ditched Bachelor in Paradise.
“At first, I was treating this relationship like it was … going to end,” Miller-Keyes said. “And that way, I was preparing my heart, because I couldn’t take that heartbreak again. I was like, ‘You know, he’s probably going to get tired of me soon.’”

Now, a year after Bachelor in Paradise Season 6, Miller-Keyes seems more secure in her relationship with Unglert. Still speaking with Higgins and Iaconetti, the 25-year-old shared how they’re doing now as they quarantine amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
“We are very happy. We are quarantining together,” Miller-Keyes said. “Sometimes we get on each other’s nerves. But for the most part, we get along great.”
Then on June 15, Miller-Keyes and Unglert celebrated their one-year anniversary and even poked fun at their breakup.
“Happy one year anniversary of the day you dumped me,” Miller-Keyes wrote on Instagram.
Then in a separate Instagram post, Unglert wrote, “This time last year, some jerk was breaking up with her on a beach in mexico. hopefully this birthday goes a little smoother for @caelynnmillerkeyes.”
Are Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert married or engaged?
On June 22, Miller-Keyes and Unglert are expected to catch up with host Chris Harrison on The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever. Ahead of the new episode, The Bachelor Instagram account teased Unglert’s ring, which has fans speculating Miller-Keyes and Unglert got engaged or married.
Of course, we may or may not find out what’s going on between Miller-Keyes and Unglert when they return to the franchise for the “best-of” episode. But Unglert has addressed the marriage rumors in the past.
In a promotional video for Kumail Nanjiani’s The Lovebirds, Iaconetti pointed out Unglert “keeps saying that they got married when they were in Europe and he broke his leg.” Then Unglert said, “I don’t understand why being married to my wife is a controversial thing. But it’s more satire than anything.”
Meanwhile, Unglert touched on the rumors during an episode of the Help! I Suck at Dating podcast with Jared Haibon. And ultimately, Unglert said it wasn’t his place to reveal whether or not he’s married to Miller-Keyes. “It’s kind of Caelynn’s thing,” he said at the time.
But according to E! News, Miller-Keyes and Unglert had a “commitment ceremony” and are not legally married. Nevertheless, fans will just have to wait and see. So stay tuned.
