Caelynn Miller-Keyes Says Dean Unglert Convinced To Stop Getting Work Done on Her Face
Caelynn Miller-Keyes may not be on TV anymore, but that’s hardly stopped people from tuning into her life. The former beauty queen turned reality TV star continues to be quite popular on social media. Thanks to her activity on YouTube and Instagram, she remains in the spotlight with over 1.5 million people following along on her journey.
Of course, with increased popularity comes increased scrutiny. Because Miller-Keyes is a public figure, people want to know more and more details about her and every aspect of her life. Recently, people have begun to question whether The Bachelor alum has ever gotten any work done on her face. Rather than letting the rumor mill spiral, Miller-Keyes took to her YouTube page and set the record straight.
Caelynn Miller-Keyes opens up about the work she’s had done
In the video, Miller-Keyes first debunked the assumption that she was secretive about what she’s done to her face. “I people think that I’m very closed off about this topic and I’m not,” the former beauty queen shared. “I am an open book. If you want to know about what work I’ve had done I am completely open and honest because I have nothing to be ashamed of. Why hide?”
The Bachelor in Paradise alum continued on to share exactly what she’s gotten done to her face and when. “A couple [of] months after I won Miss North Carolina USA, I went to Azura Skincare and I tried lip injections for the first time in my life,” Miller-Keyes revealed. “And then right before The Bachelor, I did botox for the first time. I’m not embarrassed that I got a little botox and I got a little lip filler.”
The ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ alum says her boyfriend, Dean Unglert, convinced her not to get more botox and lip injections
Miller-Keyes says after a while, she felt an urge to refresh her botox and lip fillers. But, her boyfriend, Dean Unglert, helped her see that it wasn’t something that she needed to continue. “I could see myself like wanting more and I was talking to Dean about it a year ago, right after we started dating,” Miller-Keyes shared on YouTube. “And I told him I was going to go get more and we had multiple conversations about this. But essentially he kept telling me ‘You don’t need this’ and finally it sunk in, I don’t need this, he’s right. I do not need this and I haven’t gotten anything done since then.”
It’s been over a year since Miller-Keyes has gotten botox, lip injections, or done anything else to her face. But, has she ruled out the procedures completely for the future? The Bachelor alum shared that she can’t see herself getting lip injections again because they triggered her anxiety and she didn’t have the best experience getting them.
Miller-Keyes swear off lip injections on YouTube
“I don’t think I’ll ever get lip injections again,” Miller-Keyes declared. “Honestly, it caused me so much anxiety. I couldn’t sleep the night before I knew I was getting it. I almost passed out, oh my gosh, because I was so nervous I hate needles. I get anxiety.” It’s great that Miller-Keyes has chosen to be honest with her fans about what work she’s gotten done. Fans appreciate that she neither promotes having work done nor shames people for doing it. Considering there are plenty of young people who follow along her journey, we’d she’s handling the polarizing topic quite well.
