Cameron Boyce played Carlos in Disney Channel’s ‘Descendants 3’
Although Cameron Boyce starred in Disney Channel’s television series, Jessie, he is perhaps best known for portraying Carlos in the network’s original movie, Descendants. Following the success of the original film, Disney premiered the sequel, Descendants 2 in 2017. Now, there’s a third film to be released following the story of Mal, Carlos, Evie, and Jay.
For the Descendants movies, Cameron Boyce starred as Carlos, the son of Disney villain Cruella De Vil. He acted alongside Dove Cameron from Liv and Maddie, Sofia Carson from Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists, and Booboo Stewart from The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
In the “Good to Be Bad (From Descendants 3)” clip on YouTube, we see Carlos and the gang return to the Isle of the Lost. They invite VKs, or Villain Kids to submit applications to Auradon Prep. What happens next is still unknown to fans.

The actor has been working since he was 9-year-old, first starring in a horror film, entitled Mirror. In 2008, he acted as Michael ‘Stone’ Cates Jr. for multiple episodes of General Hospital. He even had a role in Panic! at the Disco’s music video for “That Green Gentleman.”
One of his first major roles with Disney was for their original television series, Jessie, where Boyce starred as Luke Ross. Following his performance on that show, Cameron Boyce voiced Jake for the Disney Junior show, Jake and the Neverland Pirates. He enjoyed cameos in a few other Disney Channel shows, like Good Luke Charlie and Liv and Maddie.

Aside from starring in Disney Channel television shows and movies, Cameron Boyce dedicated a large chunk of his time to charity work. In March, Cameron Boyce introduced former Vice President Joe Biden at the Biden Courage Awards.
“There’s a long line of difference makers in my family,” said Boyce in an interview with Haute Living. “I’m following in the footsteps of some really strong men and women who have showed me what it means to give back; It’s the greatest way to fulfill yourself. Every time I talk to someone who shares that similar passion, we talk about how there aren’t many feelings more euphoric. Changing someone else’s life positively changes yours for the better as well.
Additionally, Boyce was an active supporter of the Thirst Project, a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring access to clean drinking water in the developing world. The actor died on July 6, 2019, due to an “ongoing medical condition.”
