So why are there rumors circulating about Delevingne and Gerber? The two were photographed on July 15, 2020, at a protest affiliated with Black Lives Matter in Los Angeles. This wasn’t surprising, given that the two have been friends for some time. But the photos taken showed them being very touchy-feely.
The timing was exciting for some on Twitter. “In less than 24 hours we found out that Cara Delevingne might be dating Kaia Gerber and dated Dakota Johnson back in 2016, omg her power,” wrote one Twitter user. “That Cara and Kaia picture is everything,” wrote another.
Delevingne dated St. Vincent, Michelle Rodriguez, and Ashley Benson
Delevingne is nine years older than Gerber, so she’s had time to date more people. The actor, who identifies as pansexual, has been in three confirmed relationships over the past several years. Most recently, she dated her Her Smell co-star Ashley Benson. They were together for almost two years before breaking up in April/May 2020.
Before Benson, Delevingne’s longest relationship was with singer St. Vincent. They dated from 2015-2016, and Delevingne told Vogue they were “completely in love.” In 2014, actor Michelle Rodriguez confirmed that she and Delevingne were dating. They split up later that year.

As for Gerber, she hasn’t had just one high-profile relationship. About a year after his very public split from singer Ariana Grande, Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson and Gerber began dating. This was right around the time she turned 18 in September 2019.
They were broken up by February 2020. In a YouTube interview, Davidson told Charlamagne Tha God, “We were dating for a few months. She’s very young, and I’m f*cking going through a lot and it was before I was going to rehab.” He added, “It just wasn’t the right place or the right time.”
