Cardi B Accidentally Uploads NSFW Photo to Her Instagram
Cardi B has sent the Internet into a frenzy, not because of that rumored new collaboration or any other music, but because of a photo on social media.
According to reports, the “WAP” rapper accidentally shared an Instagram picture to her 76 million followers that shows her topless. Though the image was quickly deleted, social media users had already taken screenshots and had started spreading them around the ‘net.
Cardi B allegedly posted a nude photo to her Instagram
She allegedly posted the photo to her account on the afternoon of Tuesday, Oct. 13, according to The Sun. In screenshots floating around the Internet, she is seen lying down, with her hair in a messy up-do and dark makeup on her face, with her full chest exposed.
The photo quickly took over the Internet and sent Cardi B’s name to the top of Twitter’s trending topics list, with social media users expressing shock and alarm over it.
Seeing the reactions, Cardi B posted an audio clip to her Twitter addressing the photo. She began by criticizing herself before telling herself she would try to let it go. “It is what it is. Sh*t happens. F*ck it,” she said. “It’s not even the first time. I mean, I used to be a stripper so whatever.”
Cardi B had been partying before the post went up
The post came after Cardi B celebrated her 28th birthday in Las Vegas. She kicked things off on Saturday, Oct. 10 with a lavish party that brought out many of her friends, family members, and music peers. Among the guests were Teyana Taylor, The City Girls, Megan Thee Stallion, Kylie Jenner, and Offset, who surprised her with a pricey Range Rover SUV.
She continued to celebrate on her actual birthday on Oct. 11 and on Oct. 12, when she visited what appeared to be a strip club. The “Clout” rapper documented the evening on her Instagram Story, showing her partying with several members of her inner circle.
Cardi B isn’t the only one who has accidentally shared a photo in recent weeks
This blunder comes just weeks after Avengers actor Chris Evans accidentally shared his own NSFW picture on social media. Evans went on Instagram on Sept. 12 to share a screen-recorded video of him playing a game with his friends. At the end of the clip, his photo library came up, showing several thumbnails, including one of male genitalia.
Like this latest situation, Evans also started trending on Twitter, garnering attention from everyone from Mark Ruffalo to Jamie Lee Curtis. He kept quiet about the ordeal for two days before re-emerging with a tweet that read, “Now that I have your attention …. VOTE Nov 3rd!!!”
