Cardi B Clapped Back at a Fan Who Spoke Negatively About Offset Despite Their Divorce
After three years of marriage and one child together, rappers Cardi B and Offset have decided to go their separate ways. The Migos and “Money” rapper’s relationship was extremely high profile and often made headlines due to Offset’s infidelity. Though they appeared to be making things work in quarantine, in the end, Cardi decided that she was done.
On Sept. 15, seemingly out of the blue, the “WAP” rapper filed for divorce at an Atlanta courthouse. According to People, Cardi stated that the marriage was irretrievably broken” and that “there are no prospects for reconciliation.” She also asked for joint custody of the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Kulture, and spousal support.
However, despite the split, Cardi appears to have no ill-will toward Offset and she doesn’t appreciate anyone talking badly about him either.
Offset reportedly never stopped cheating on Cardi B
Offset’s numerous infidelities are no secret. In fact, the couple split briefly in 2018 because he was caught with yet another woman. A couple of months later the pair decided to try and work it out. “It’s like everybody is coming down my neck like, ‘Why are you not leaving him? You have low self-esteem.’ I don’t have low self-esteem … I know I look good,” she told Cosmopolitan at the time. “But I want to work out my s*** with my man, and I don’t got to explain why.”
Unfortunately, the Atlanta rapper never did change his ways. An insider told E! News,
Cardi does not trust Offset. She’s really tried for the last two years and has tried to forgive him. It’s been hard for her since the last cheating scandal and there have been rumors of him being unfaithful again. He has been pleading with her that he hasn’t, but many girls have come forward with claims. She had enough and decided to file. She wants to be a good example for her daughter and women out there.
Cardi B revealed the real reason she filed for divorce
Though rumors have swirled about why Cardi decided to pull the plug on her marriage, the Invasion of Privacy rapper has come forward to speak candidly about her divorce.
“This time I wasn’t crying,” she said in the video via Hollywoodlife. “It’s not because of cheating. I’m seeing people say it’s because he’s got a baby on the way — that’s a whole f*cking complete lie. This is the like second time people try to pin babies over here. No, that’s bullsh*t.I’ve been with this man for 4 years,” she said. “I have a kid with this man. I have a household with this man. Sometimes you just want — you’re just tired of the arguments, of the buildups.”
Despite their split, Cardi has been adamant that there is no drama between her and her soon-to-be ex-husband.

Obviously, Cardi B fans are on her side regarding this split, but she’s not about to let fans drag the Atlanta rapper in the mud. When one fan tweeted, “We don’t like offset sis and it’s our right to drag him when we see fit.” Cardi quickly responded.
In a now-deleted tweet via Cosmopolitan she said,
I don’t give a f*** if you don’t like him. I don’t talk to him but you not going to disrespect my child father. I will slap the s— out of you in curtesy of Kulture. If he die, go broke, you not the one that’s going to raise my kid & you not the 1 who pays for her s***
Cardi has never been one to mince words.
