Cardi B Explains What’s Going on With Her and Offset After Sparking Reconciliation Rumors
In recent days, there’s been plenty of confusion surrounding the status of Cardi’s relationship with Offset. Although she’s in the middle of a divorce from her “Clout” collaborator, they made several moves during the month of October that suggest a reconciliation. Attempting to clear the air, Cardi B went on Instagram Live on Oct. 13 to explain what’s going on with them.

Cardi B filed for divorce on Sept. 15 after three years of marriage and nearly four years together, citing irreconcilable differences. Initially, there were rumors that the filing stemmed from infidelity on Offset’s part. However, Cardi B said otherwise in a later Instagram Live.
“The reason for my divorce is not because of none of that sh*t that ever happened before. It’s not because of cheating,” she said (via Pop Culture). “I’m seeing people be like, ‘Oh, he has a baby on the way.’ That’s a whole f*cking complete lie. That’s the second time people are trying to pin babies over here. No, that’s bullsh*t.”
“Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart,” she continued. “I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man… sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build up. You get tired sometimes, and before something happens, you leave.”
But Cardi B and Offset have since sparked rumors of a reconciliation
The “MotorSport” rappers sparked reconciliation rumors during Cardi B’s birthday weekend. She celebrated her birthday a day early on Oct. 10 with a party in Las Vegas, where Offset surprised her with a pricey Rolls Royce SUV, which earned him a kiss from the rapper.
They continued to celebrate in the following days, hitting a strip club in Atlanta on Oct. 12 and what appeared to be a hookah lounge on Oct. 13. Cardi B even noted that she was actually in bed with Offset when she accidentally uploaded a nude photo to Instagram on Oct. 13, explaining that she was using her camera to check out her lips when she mistakenly hit the upload button.
As reconciliation talks continue to spread, she hopped online with a new video explaining the status of her marriage to Offset.

The “Bodak Yellow” rapper went on Instagram Live on the evening of Oct. 13 to address rumors surrounding the status of her relationship with Offset. She told viewers: “Listen y’all, I’m just a crazy b*tch. You know how I be arguing with y’all on social media? That’s exactly how I be arguing with my man.”
“So when people say I be doing sh*t for attention, no, I’m just a crazy b*tch. One day I’m happy. The next day, I wanna beat a [N-word] up, like, ‘Aight, I’m gonna teach your a** motherf*ckin’ lesson. You think I’m motherf*ckin’ playing with your a**? Alright, we gon’ see. And then, I don’t know. It’s just like, I just be starting to miss him.”
“It’s like, it’s hard not to talk to your best friend and not to have no d*ck,” she continued. “And to tell y’all the truth, I really wanted some for my birthday.”
Summing up their current standing, she concluded: “I don’t know what it is. We’re really just two young motherf*ckers who got married early. That’s what we are. We aren’t no different than y’all f*ckin’ dysfunctional a** relationships. We’re just more public.”
