Cardi B and Tomi Lahren don’t have the best history. As two politically opposite people, they have repeatedly clashed over their conflicting views and opinions over the years.

Things seemed to die down following their infamous spat in 2019, but the feud was recently reignited due to Lahren’s comments on the looting happening across America amidst the George Floyd protests.

The latest drama between Cardi B and Tomi Lahren

It went down on May 27 when Lahren tweeted: “How does looting, rioting and destroying your OWN community bring justice for anyone?”

“How does targeting, profilin, beating and murdering black men with no consequence equal serving and protecting?” Cardi B wrote back on May 28. “Who’s giving them justice and trust on cops? Mind your business and eat your salad!”

Cardi B suggested in a later Instagram video that people are looting and rioting because they are fed up with police brutality and seeing so little from peaceful demonstrations.

“Seeing people looting and going extremely outraged, it makes me feel like ‘Yes! Finally! Finally, mothaf*ckas is gonna hear us now. Yeah!’” she said (via Complex). “And as much as people is so against it, at this point, I feel like I’m not against it even though it do scare me and I don’t want anybody to get hurt.”

“But it’s just really frustrating because police brutality been going on even way before I was born, but it has been more visual ever since social media started getting poppin’. Ever since, let’s say, Instagram started, how many peaceful protests have we seen? How many trending hashtags have we seen? These hashtags keep repeating themself. I feel like I’ve done videos against police brutality—this is like my seventh time. I’ve been doing police brutality videos ever since my teeth been f*cked up and the only shit that changed has been my f*cking teeth.”

It is unclear if Lahren responded to the posts, but she has continued to make criticisms on her social media.

The beginning of Cardi B’s feud with Tomi Lahren

The beef dates back to January 2019 when Cardi B criticized President Donald Trump for shutting down the government in a bid to get funding for a border wall with Mexico. The shutdown left about 800,000 federal workers without pay and sent government-regulated businesses into utter chaos.

“This sh*t is crazy,” Cardi B said in an Instagram clip (via Vox). “Like, our country is a hellhole right now, all for a f*cking wall. And we really need to take this serious.”

“Now, I don’t want to hear y’all motherf*ckers talking about oh, but Obama shut down the government for 17 days. Yeah, b*tch, for health care,” she said, referencing President Barack Obama’s shutdown in October 2013. “So your grandma could check her blood pressure and you b*tches could go check your p*ssy in the gynecologist with no motherf*cking problem.”

“I feel like we need to take some action,” she continued. “I don’t know what type of action, because that’s not what I do, but b*tch, I’m scared. This is crazy. And I really feel bad for these people that gotta go to f*cking work to not get motherf*cking paid.”

Tomi Lahren criticized the post

Cardi B’s post garnered over 4 million likes, but Lahren clearly wasn’t a fan of it. She took to Twitter and sarcastically called Cardi B “the latest genius political mind to endorse the Democrats,” to which the rapper replied: “Leave me alone I will dog walk you.”

Lahren continued on, though, tweeting: “I’m sure you would. Still doesn’t make your political rambling any less moronic.”

Cardi B then called her a sheep “blinded by racism,” prompting more back-and-forth between them. And here we are today, with even more drama between the two.
