Cardi B Kisses and Dances With Offset for Her Birthday Amid Divorce
Cardi B and Offset may have hinted that they’re working on their marriage just weeks after confirming they’re getting divorced.
In September 2020, court documents were released that confirmed Cardi, born Belcalis Almanzar, filed for divorce from Offset, born Kiari Cephus, after three years of marriage. Since they decided to end their marriage, Offset has been vocal about how much he misses Cardi and shares he is willing to work on the relationship for a second time.
Offset made sure to celebrate his wife for her 28th birthday on Saturday, October 10, 2020. The couple celebrated with a lavish birthday party in Vegas for Cardi and showed that they could patch things up soon.
Cardi B and Offset weren’t afraid to pack on the PDA at her party
Cardi B and Offset were photographed being cozy together while they were on her birthday trip. Offset shared multiple moments from the night on his Instagram page, including a clip of him and Cardi grinding on the dance floor while she rocked a grey bodysuit. According to E! News, the couple also kissed throughout the night, and Offset gifted his wife with a Rolls Royce for her special day.

While the public display of affection doesn’t necessarily mean they’re back together, Cardi and Offset have never shied away from their affection for each other. Their multiple open-mouthed kisses in public were something Cardi discussed on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that the couple’s unique way of showing their love at events was inspired by a typical problem the starlet would experience when they went out.
“I have makeup, and then all that lip glosses and the concealer gets on his face,” Cardi explained. “Then he looks like he ate a donut and whatnot.”
Why Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset
Once the news broke that Cardi and Offset were planning to divorce, fans of the couple instantly wondered what could’ve caused their demise. Multiple rumors surfaced, stating that Offset was expecting another child, which was what finally broke Cardi. In 2019, the rapper separated from Offset after learning he was unfaithful in their marriage.
Cardi set the record straight on what caused her to break away from her marriage to Offset. She denied the rumor that he was unfaithful again but admitted she didn’t want to wait around for him to repeat the same behaviors, per People.
“You cannot hurt my feelings trying to throw the divorce in my face because, at the end of the day, I decided I wanted to leave,” Cardi said. “I didn’t wait until he cheated on me again… I didn’t wait [for] another controversy with him being involved. I decided to leave. If I wanted to stay, I could have stayed. I decided to leave.”
Cardi B said she hasn’t been dating since leaving Offset but has plenty of options
If Cardi and Offset are back on, it’s not because she didn’t have any potential suitors. Shortly after starting her OnlyFans page, Cardi shared with her followers that multiple social media users have shared their willingness to be with the mother of one.

Although she said she’s not interested in anyone new at the moment, she knows where to look when or if she becomes interested.
“My DMs are flooded,” Cardi admitted. “I don’t actually want to date nobody… I’m so focused on my business that it’s crazy.”
