Cardi B has been doing her best to stay busy amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. From the beginning, the Invasion of Privacy rapper has been sharing her thoughts about the virus and the impact that the government’s slow response has had on citizens of the United States.

Though she is currently quarantined in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, rapper, Offset and daughter, Kulture, the “Money” rapper has made sure to reach out to people who are struggling including members of the class of 2020. She’s also gotten candid about her boredom, having DIY photoshoots, and trying out a new hair removal cream.

Now that Atlanta has opened back up, the rapper is working on some new ink from the comfort of her home. In fact, her massive new back tattoo is exactly like her larger-than-life personality.

Cardi B has a ton of tattoos

From the massive colorful peacock on her thigh to the ink on her arms, Cardi B is no stranger to tattoos. Prior to her most recent tattoo she had about eight different tattoos. In addition to her peacock, she has a bunch of roses on her left side, a cheetah tattoo on her right hip, and a slew of written tats.

The “Please Me” rapper has the name “Samuel” written on her neck as well as the words “Loyalty Over Royalty” on her arm. She also has a tat for her younger sister Hennesy whom she adores, it reads, “Hennesy,” with black shaded roses.

Additionally, she has the American Sign Language symbol for “I Love You” along with a tiny red star right behind her red ear.

Cardi B’s most controversial tattoo honors her husband, Offset

Since Cardi B and Offset got married in 2017, they’ve had ups and downs in their marriage, namely Offset’s infidelity. At one point, following the birth of their daughter Kulture, the pair were seemingly headed for divorce, with Cardi explaining she was exhausted from the lies and cheating.

Since then, Offset has seemingly changed his ways. He took drastic measures to win Cardi back and publicly apologize to her for the drama and cheating. As a result, the pair have been solid since then. However, fans were still alarmed when the Bronx-born rapper decided to get her husband’s name tatted on her body.

Cardi showed off the tat of her husband’s name written in cursive behind her knee. The Migos rapper was thrilled with the tribute, sharing it on Instagram and captioning it, “CANT WAIT TO GET HOME.”

Cardi B’s new tattoo represents her personality

The rapper just got her back inked with some large colorfully flowers and a butterfly. She tagged the artist Jamie Schene of Union 3 Tattoo while declaring that it took her several months to complete.

It’s clear that Cardi started working on the tat before the pandemic and was just able to complete it now that quarantine has been lifted in Georgia. The tat certainly represents her carefree and free-spirited personality.
