Cardi B Officially Drops Her Divorce Against Offset
We really thought it was over between Cardi B and Offset. The “I Like It” rapper filed for divorce in September following a three-year marriage that produced their 2-year-old daughter, Kulture. However, she later decided to give him another shot. Now, it’s being reported that she has officially canceled her divorce from Offset.
Cardi B previously said their marriage was ‘irretrievably broken’
The “Please Me” rapper filed for divorce from Offset on Sept. 15. People obtained court documents at the time in which she said their marriage was “irretrievably broken” and that there were “no prospects for a reconciliation.”
The news came after several cheating scandals involving Offset, including in March when he was accused of hiding his phone from Cardi B. However, she insisted that infidelity was not a factor in the filing.
“Nothing crazy out of this world happened, sometimes people really do grow apart,” she said on Instagram Live (Pop Culture). “I been with this man for four years. I have a kid with this man, I have a household with this man… sometimes you’re just tired of the arguments and the build up. You get tired sometimes, and before something happens, you leave.”

Cardi B and Offset sparked reconciliation rumors after celebrating her birthday together. The “Be Careful” crooner celebrated a day early, on Oct. 10, with a party in Las Vegas, where her “Clout” collaborator surprised her a pricey Rolls Royce SUV. Video from the moment showed Cardi B thanking him with a hug and kiss.
As reconciliation rumors swirled, Cardi B went on Instagram Live to give an update on the status of their marriage. She first denied rumors that it was a publicity stunt to drum up attention for her music, instead suggesting she had prematurely filed for divorce after getting into an argument with Offset.
“When people say I be doing sh*t for attention, no, I’m just a crazy b*tch. One day I’m happy. The next day, I wanna beat a [N-word] up, like, ‘Aight, I’m gonna teach your a** motherf*ckin’ lesson. You think I’m motherf*ckin’ playing with your a**? Alright, we gon’ see. And then, I don’t know. It’s just like, I just be starting to miss him,” she said.
“I don’t know what it is,” Cardi B continued. “We’re really just two young motherf*ckers who got married early. That’s what we are. We aren’t no different than y’all f*ckin’ dysfunctional a** relationships. We’re just more public.”
Now, Cardi B has officially dropped her divorce from Offset
TMZ reported on Nov. 2 that Cardi B has filed paperwork in Georgia to withdraw her divorce filing from Offset. However, the outlet noted that she filed the documents “without prejudice,” meaning she could file again at a later date. But by the looks of it, it seems like she and Offset have reached a place where that won’t be necessary any time soon.
