Cassie Randolph Claims Colton Underwood Knew Who Was Visiting Her and Was ‘Startled’ by This
The fallout of Colton Underwood and Cassie Randolph’s breakup is becoming more public. Randolph was granted a restraining order from him meaning he’ll have to stay at least 100 yards from her. This will last until their hearing on Oct. 6. She accused the former star of The Bachelor of knowing who was visiting her home.
Cassie Randolph and Colton Underwood announced their split
The former reality stars have been dating since the end of The Bachelor Season 23 in 2019. They announced their breakup in June of 2020 on Instagram.
“Its been a crazy few months to say the least, Cass and I have been doing a lot of self-reflecting. Sometimes people are just meant to be friends – and that’s okay,” read part of Underwood’s statement.
“Colton and I have broken up, but have decided to remain a part of each others lives,” Randolph wrote in her statement. “With all that we have gone through, we have a special bond that will always be there. I love Colton very much and have an enormous amount of respect for him.”
Their breakup soured publicly
At first it seemed like their breakup was on good terms. But that changed publicly.
Randolph appeared on a new episode of The Bachelor: The Greatest Seasons — Ever and talked positively about their past relationship. Underwood responded to this a few days later with a post on Instagram saying their agreement to not talk publicly about their breakup was changed.
Randolph later claimed Underwood said he planned to monetize their breakup by adding a new chapter to his book about it. He later denied this then confirmed he added a new chapter with her help.
She claims he knew who was visiting her
Many details were included in Randolph’s filing for the restraining order. She claimed that he was keeping tabs on her and knew when she was getting visitors.
“Ms. Randolph’s friend, Caelan, visited her at her apartment,” read the filing, according to Yahoo! “Mr. Underwood somehow immediately knew, and obsessively called and sent text messages to Ms. Randolph about the visit. Ms. Randolph was startled that he knew who was coming in and out of her apartment, and felt like she was being watched.”
This incident reportedly happened on July 27. The situation reportedly didn’t end there.
“A few days later, Mr. Underwood showed up again at Ms. Randolph’s apartment, still upset again about Caelan’s visit a few days prior,” read the statement. “He proceeded to yell at Ms. Randolph, and threatened, ‘I am going to keep you accountable.'”
He reportedly also texted her accusing her of spending time with an ex-boyfriend. Randolph also claimed he used “alias phone numbers” to send her harassing texts and put a tracking device on her car. Underwood hasn’t commented on the situation yet.
