Executive producer Allison Grodner seemingly confirms ‘Celebrity Big Brother 3’ cast moved in

Host Julie Chen Moonves teased the cast a week before the premiere of Celebrity Big Brother 3 in a video leaving clues for the famous houseguests.

Shortly after her hints, executive producer Allison Grodner tweeted, “the celebs are in the house” and teased “the game is on, and alliances are forming,” implying the cast has already moved in and began strategizing.

Fans replied with their disappointment and excitement as many fans were looking forward to a live move-in. For the past two seasons, presumably due to COVID-19, the show has allowed viewers to watch the houseguests move in during the premiere episode.

The Live Feeds were turned on afterward, giving fans the opportunity to watch the houseguests strategize from the beginning. With the season only lasting three weeks, several fans were hoping for more content with the cast.

Julie Chen Moonves left hints regarding the season 3 cast

In a two-and-a-half-minute video, the host gave 11 clues for who would compete in this season’s Celebrity Big Brother.

Her hints included a former NBA player with known connections to “family of reality TV stars,” a popular 90’s music band member, a famous Housewife, a comedian on Saturday Night Live, an Olympic figure skater, a singing and dancing “idol,” and the daughter of a famous rockstar.

Moonves continued with a pageant queen and reality TV star who previously stood out as “the girl at the rock show,” a sitcom actor, top UFC ranked female fighter and a houseguest who has an “eye for fashion.”

Fans have already begun making their guesses, believing her clues add up to Khloé Kardashian’s ex-husband and former Lakers player Lamar Odom, comedian Tracy Morgan, and NSYNC’s Lance Bass making this year’s star-studded cast.

NeNe Leakes and Jillian Michaels confirm they aren’t competing

A couple of weeks before the host released her clues, many spoiler accounts came forward, claiming they knew who would compete in the upcoming season.

The leaks named Bravo Housewives NeNe Leakes and Erika Jayne as faces viewers would see. However, they both reportedly turned down the CBS reality show, according to TMZ.

Additionally, other reports named former Olympic favorite Sha’Carri Richardson as a potential houseguest. However, her camp claims the track sensation denied the show after producers contacted her about an appearance. Another rumored competitor, personal trainer Jillian Michaels, has also reported the rumors surrounding her appearing on the show aren’t accurate, insisting viewers won’t see her in the house this season.

Several names remained up in the air, including rapper Vanilla Ice and reality TV personality Tiffany “New York” Pollard. Yet, the two are likely not competing as Moonves’ clues seemingly don’t describe how fans would know them. Celebrity Big Brother premieres on CBS on Feb. 2, 2022.
