‘Very Cavallari’: Jay Cutler Just Deleted His Instagram after Kristin Cavallari’s Reunion with Stephen Colletti
Jay Cutler and Kristin Cavallari’s separation just got a little more interesting. Since the messiness of the beginning of their split, the two had seemed to be easing into single life quite nicely. But shortly after Cavallari posted a picture of herself snuggling up to her ex and former Laguna Beach co-star Stephen Colletti, Cutler went MIA on social media.
Jay and Kristin’s divorce
Things started getting publicly rocky for Cavallari and Cutler on last season of Very Cavallari. During that time, rumors began to surface that Cutler had hooked up with Cavallari’s best friend at the time, Kelly Henderson. Then in April, Cutler and Cavallari announced their split.
“With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” Cavallari wrote on Instagram. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
The two maintained that the rumors of infidelity had nothing to do with their split.
“There’s nothing scandalous or suspect about their split,” a source told Us Weekly when news of the divorce first broke. “Honestly, they just fell out of love and grew apart. It wasn’t officially over until this week. She’s planning to stay in Nashville so they can co-parent.”
Things get messy
In the divorce documents, Cavallari claimed that Cutler was “guilty of such inappropriate marital conduct as renders further cohabitation unsafe and improper.”
She also petitioned for primary custody of the couple’s children, Camden, Jaxon, and Saylor Cutler, according to the documents obtained by HollywoodLife. In the paperwork, she denied “that the Husband has always been the available at home parent and primary caretaker of the parties’ minor children. Wife would show that she has been the primary residential parent and she is a fit and proper person to be named Primary Residential Parent.”
In addition to the divorce proceedings, it was also alleged that Cutler tried to block Cavallari from buying a new home. According to court documents obtained by People, Cavallari had been looking for a new home for a while, but when she found one, Cutler refused to let her take the money from their joint account to buy the house.
Cavallari claimed that Cutler told her “his attorney was going to tell their business manager to not release the funds.”
She also claimed that Cutler had “attempted to intimidate” her “into accepting his parenting plan,” by not allowing her to move.
Jay deletes his Instagram
Yesterday, Cavallari uploaded a very blurry picture to Instagram of her and her old flame, Colletti. She captioned the photo, “2004 or 2020.” In the picture, she appeared to be sitting on Colletti’s lap.
Fans went wild over the photo.
“Mmmkayyy, give the people what they want!” one person wrote.
“Okay this made my high school heart skip a beat,” another fan commented.
But one person who was not here for the antics was Cutler. He deleted his Instagram less than 24 hours after the picture was posted. Whether his sudden disappearance from Instagram had anything to do with Cavallari’s post is yet to be determined.
