Sadly, the medical drama will go on a short hiatus after its return in 2022. Part of this is due to the Winter Olympics. The sporting event is scheduled to air during the same time slot usually occupied by Chicago Med and other shows in the Chicago universe. The short hiatus will run until the middle of February. When the show returns, the medical drama will go back to its regularly scheduled program. In addition, the show will continue to air weekly until the Season 7 finale.
