Chris Harrison Names the Women From Peter Weber’s Season Who Would Be Good on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’–Yes, Hannah Ann Sluss Made the List
After Peter Weber’s mess of a Bachelor season, fans are already looking forward to Bachelor in Paradise, never mind The Bachelorette. Though Bachelor Nation deemed many of Weber’s contestants “unlikable,” fans are thinking some of them may be better suited in a different environment. An environment with a beach and a bartender.
Chris Harrison says Hannah Ann Sluss is ‘already on the beach’ in ‘Paradise’
After Weber’s season of The Bachelor, there’s one woman in particular fans would like to see in Paradise, Hannah Ann Sluss. Sluss was awarded Weber’s final rose but the couple ended their engagement after the pilot admitted he couldn’t give his whole heart to the young model because he still had feelings for Madison Prewett.
“She’s in a bikini, she’s already on the beach waiting,” Harrison told Entertainment Tonight of Sluss.
Much of Bachelor Nation was disappointed that Sluss wasn’t named the next bachelorette after her breakup with Weber. ABC Executive Rob Mills said there wasn’t enough time between the end of their engagement and the start of The Bachelorette.
“We knew fairly early on that there were still feelings on both sides between Peter and Madison and then I think with Hannah Ann, it was just too soon. Hannah Ann displayed such a strength, not that that means she can’t be the Bachelorette. But some of those words would have felt weird if it was like, ‘Ok, now I’m ready to go and meet these five guys,'” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
“We did do that with Becca [Kufrin], though I think Becca and Arie broke up a little bit earlier. This was probably just too soon. But as we saw with Clare and with other people too, this doesn’t mean this is your one shot with Bachelorette. Also, Clare just felt too good to pass up,” he continued.
Mills also said if Sluss would be ready to date again by Paradise, they’d love to have her back.
“She would have to be ready and want to do it, but of course. Really, most of the cast is always welcome when they are ready. I’m sure she’ll talk to producers and if it’s the right decision for her, hopefully we’ll see her this summer,” he said.
The women from Peter Weber’s ‘Bachelor’ season Chris Harrison thinks would be good on ‘Bachelor in Paradise’
“There’s a lot of these women that I think would be really good,” Harrison told ET. “What’s not good for the Peter is good for the Paradise.”
So who does Harrison think would be good in Paradise? Mykenna Dorn, Kelsey Weier, Kelley Flanagan, Victoria Paul, Victoria Fuller and Tammy Ly were all named as possibilities.
We’ll just have to wait for this summer to find out who makes the cut and hope it’s a better season than The Bachelor.
