Chrishell Stause Talks Dating After Justin Hartley Divorce, Says It’s ‘Been a Nice Surprise’
Many people were shocked when Justin Hartley filed for divorce. That includes his wife, Chrishell Stause. She is now talking about moving on with Dancing with the Stars and dating.

The soap opera actors got married in 2017. Stause would talk about Hartley on Selling Sunset, but he never appeared on the show.
Season 3 showed the fallout from Hartley filing for divorce in November 2019. Stause seemed to be completely surprised by this including the rest of the cast.
She claimed she was “blindsided” by him telling her he was filing for divorce through text. The text came 45 minutes before it made the news. The season also showed her moving to a new home and taking time off from work to be with her sister.
Most of her fellow cast members were supportive of her. But some called into question what really happened between the former couple.
Stause will be on ‘Dancing with the Stars’
Some celebrities go on Dancing with the Stars shortly after a breakup. It happened in season 28 when Hannah Brown from The Bachelorette joined the cast after she broke up with the man she chose, Jed Wyatt. She ended up winning the season.
It looks like the same thing could happen this season. Stause is part of the cast for season 29.
“Listen, I’ve already fallen flat on my face in front of America already, so I really got that out of the way,” she joked with Entertainment Tonight. The reality star revealed why she’s competing. “I don’t have anything else to lose, so it’s only going up from here!” she said.
Stause already gained so many fans through Selling Sunset. Time will tell if they’ll vote for her to stay in the competition.

Will fans get to see Stause dating next season of Selling Sunset? It’s unclear but the reality star did talk about dipping her toe in the dating pool. She said some men have slipped into her DMs.
“I have to say I have had a few, yes. Yeah it’s been — I don’t know how to answer that, I feel so weird. But yes, that has been a nice surprise,” Stause told Entertainment Tonight.
It sounds like some of the people she’s talked to could be famous. “There’s a few [people you might now], but I’m not going to tell you who,” she teased.
The real estate agent did clarify what her relationship status is right now. “I’m completely single and because of COVID, I haven’t done much mingling,” she said. “I’m excited to mingle.”
It sounds like Stause has a lot to look forward to in the future. She is going to be on a new show and she’s getting back out there as a single woman.
