Chrissy Teigen is one of the biggest celebrities on the planet. The mother of two has been able to propel her modeling success into a career as a cookbook author, TV personality, and more. To add to that, Teigen’s husband is EGOT winner John Legend, which means they both rub elbows with some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Beyoncé Knowles-Carter.

Although Teigen is friendly with Beyoncé, that doesn’t stop her from getting nervous around the Lemonade singer.

Chrissy Teigen adores Beyoncé

Like many of us, Teigen is a proud member of the BeyHive. In fact, when Beyoncé announced she was pregnant with her twins, Sir and Rumi, the Cravings foodie joked that they were BFFs.

Teigen tweeted her congratulations, saying, “Congrats to my best friend Beyonce I love you so much. Hive forever.” Also, when the BeyHive got beside themselves after the songstress was spotted in Target, Teigen said, “Beyonce you are so silly, I can just send you my new knives!!”

Teigen launched her exclusive cookware line with Target in September 2018, which includes pots, pans, spatulas, spoons, and obviously knives.

Chrissy Teigen has embarrassed herself in front of Beyoncé

Teigen and Beyoncé aren’t actually BFFs. In fact, Luna and Miles’ mom has previously embarrassed herself in front of the singer. At the 2018 Grammys, Teigen knelt before Bey and apologized for disturbing her peace.

“On our way out [of the event], I was like, ‘We have to say something, right?’” Teigen said on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon of her and Bey’s encounter. “And I took both her hands — I don’t do this for anybody, it was very weird — and John’s like, ‘What the hell are you doing?’ And I took her hands and I got down on my knees and I was like, ‘Sorry to bother you, my queen.’ Like, who says that? It was like, m’lady. Like, what do you — who am I?”

Teigen added, “There’s nothing like seeing Beyoncé in person. She just emits this aura that’s spectacular.”

After the 2020 Academy Awards, Beyoncé and Jay-Z threw a star-studded soiree that Teigen and Legend attended. However, after the debacle of 2018, the supermodel decided it would be in her best interest not to speak to Beyoncé.

She shared the method to her madness on Instagram in a caption that read, “Beyonce if there is any, any way you’re reading this please just know I stare at you and don’t talk because I am truly so nervous to say something stupid but we love you and thank you so much!!!”
