Chrissy Teigen reveals she is restarting IVF treatment

Teigen conceived Luna and Miles with the help of in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments. In 2020, she conceived her son Jack naturally, though the pregnancy ended in a stillbirth.

Teigen has since restarted IVF. According to E! News, on Feb. 19, the model shared a photo on Instagram Stories of IVF medication with the caption “Here we go again.” Then, a day later, she made a post that gave more details.

“Hiiii. I posted about it in my stories, but I wanted to let you guys know I’m balls deep in another IVF cycle to save as many eggos as I possibly can and hopefully make some strong, healthy embryos,” Teigen wrote.

Chrissy Teigen begs people to stop asking if she is pregnant

It is unknown if or when Teigen might get pregnant again, and she is also asking for fans to not speculate.

“The bloating [from IVF injections] is a bitch, so I humbly beg you to stop asking if I’m pregnant because while I know it’s said with excited, good intentions, it just kind of sucks to hear because I am the opposite of pregnant!” she wrote on Instagram. “But also like please stop asking people, anyone, if they’re pregnant.”

Teigen added, “I said this in the comments and got yelled at because the internet is wild but I’d rather be the one to tell you and not some poor woman who will look you in the eyes through tears and that’s how you finally learn.”

Pregnancy and all the complications surrounding it are things many women have experienced or will experience. Teigen has been open about her pregnancy journey in hopes of starting more conversations about these topics.

“Honestly, to this day, I still am not exactly positive what it is between John and I that just doesn’t mesh well enough to make a baby naturally,” she told Refinery29 in April 2021. “We’re happy that we’ve been able to find so many incredible people and doctors that have talked us through the process that resulted in two incredible little babies… I just wish there was a place where more conversation was created.”

She continued, “There’s no one way to [become a parent] and there’s no straight road at all. I’ve seen the highest of highs and the lowest of lows with it. I encourage anyone to be open and honest as they’d like to be. And they’ll get the same from me.”
