Official ‘Cravings’

In November, Teigen launched her Cravings website for foodie lovers, titled as a spinoff of her two Cravings cookbooks. “We did it we did it it’s up!!! CRAVINGSBYCHRISSYTEIGEN.COM is up! (Please clap),” she wrote on Twitter. Teigen introduced her site with a video that included her family – husband John Legend and two kids, Luna and Miles – sitting by her side.

“I’ve been wanting to do a real website where it was a true community of people that love Cravings, love the cookbooks, love the cookware, just a place where you could see everything that is our family,” she said in the recorded announcement, according to People. “We wanted to share everything in one little spot for you guys.”

She also shared who is bankrolling the new endeavor. “We’re so excited to have you because I’m very proud to do this for you and John is proud … to pay for it,” Teigen humorously added.

Teigen’s fans flocked to the site upon its launch, so much so that it crashed on its first day. “You crashed the site – thanks for all the love right out of the gate!” the Cravings’ Instagram post wrote alongside a pic of Teigen at her computer. “@chrissyteigen is working hard in our server room and the site should be running smoothly again soon. Thanks for your patience. Don’t worry we brought her snacks.”

Eggs-cellent snack

The social media maven recently took to Twitter at 3:35 a.m. to share her love of a particular protein she has a penchant for in the wee hours of the morning. “Each night before bed, as I eat my night eggs, if I’m not not on the Twitter, I catch up on my favorite subreddits,” Teigen tweeted.

Naturally, the term ‘night eggs’ sparked intrigue in the Twittersphere, with followers asking Teigen to expound upon her late-night snack. “I can’t sleep without being overly full. I take two hard boiled eggs to bed every night and eat them when I randomly wake up,” Teigen shared. “It used to be beef jerky but I’d wake up too puffy.”

When asked what she does with the eggs if she actually sleeps through the night, Teigen responded, “I wake up for at least a half an hour like 4 times a night.”

When fans of the Lip Sync Battle co-host expressed their concern for her disrupted sleep, Teigen tweeted a reply in her trademark humor. “yea maybe it’s the eggs lol,” she wrote.

Tweeting for tips

This isn’t the first time Teigen has taken to Twitter to share her nightly bouts of restlessness. Last year, she asked her followers for advice on bedding.

“I sleep very tense, with my arms kind of like a vampire but on my side and it is making me very achy. I can’t stop,” she tweeted in May. “Is this what a weighted blanket would help with or do I just need to be swaddled like a baby.”

While some fans gave some specific advice while others posted humorous clips including a dog being swaddled, it’s evident that Teigen’s social media presence has resulted in a massive loyal following.
