Christian McCaffrey, one of the NFL’s most talked about players, is officially married. The NFL running back wed his longtime love, Olivia Culpo, at a star-studded ceremony in Rhode Island this weekend. Olvia Culpo, a former Miss Rhode Island and a reality TV star, has been dating Christian McCaffrey since 2019. They announced their engagement in 2023. Are they planning for kids in the future?

Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey wed in a stunning ceremony at Watch Hill Chapel in Westerly, Rhode Island, on June 29. According to the Providence Journal, a reception followed immediately after at Ocean House, a hotel also in Westerly.
Culpo was born and raised in Cranston, Rhode Island, about 45 minutes from the wedding venue. McCaffrey grew up in Colorado.
The couple had a 14-month engagement, and there were plenty of sweet moments along the road to their big day. In November, Culpo enjoyed a bachelorette weekend in Cabo San Lucas, complete with a surprise fireworks display from McCaffrey. Last month, the couple’s friends and family showered them with gifts at a beachfront bridal shower in Malibu.
Now that they are officially wed, they are on to their next adventure. A honeymoon appears to be on the docket ahead of the upcoming NFL season. A family seems to be in their future, too.

Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo don’t have kids just yet, but it sounds like that might change. As for what comes next, at least Culpo is ready to start welcoming children immediately. In October 2023, six months after her engagement, Culpo took to TikTok to chat about her plans with her followers. In the video, she revealed that she was willing to start trying for a baby immediately following her nuptials.
Culpo said she’d be willing to “rip out” her IUD the day after her wedding. McCaffrey might not be sharing exactly when he plans to bring kids into the mix with the public, but he has opened up about his desire to be a father.
Earlier this year, McCaffrey connected with People and discussed his future family plans. He told the publication that if he were fortunate enough to have children, he would be happy whether they opted to play sports or not. From the sounds of it, Culpo and McCaffrey are on the same page about wanting children, but fans will just have to wait for a future pregnancy announcement.
It is unclear where McCaffrey and Culpo are headed on their honeymoon. They have more than a month to spend together before McCaffrey must report back to the San Francisco 49ers ahead of the upcoming NFL season. The newlyweds share a home in Encino, California.
