Ant Anstead was denied emergency custody of his 2-year-old son with Christina Haack

On Apr. 28, TMZ reported that Ant Anstead filed for full custody of his son with Christina Haack, less than one year after their divorce was finalized in June 2021. Anstead claimed that the Flip or Flop star endangered the toddler and put him at medical risk.

According to People, a judge denied the English TV presenter’s emergency order for full custody just hours after Anstead submitted his petition.

A California Superior Court judge in Orange County refused the request because Anstead didn’t give Haack sufficient notice, and he didn’t provide evidence to warrant immediate full custody.

But Haack and Anstead’s custody dispute isn’t over yet. The judge also set a hearing for June 28, so both parties have the chance to appear and make their arguments regarding the toddler’s custody arrangement.

Besides sharing Hudson with Anstead, Haack also has two children from her first marriage to her former Flip or Flop co-star, Tarek El Moussa. Haack and El Moussa share custody of 11-year-old Taylor and 6-year-old Brayden. Anstead also has two children from a previous marriage, 18-year-old Amelie and 15-year-old Archie.

Christina Haack seemingly responded to Ant Anstead losing his emergency custody petition by playing the song ‘All I Do Is Win’

On May 2, Christina Haack seemingly shared a subtle message about her custody battle with Ant Anstead.

She posted a video to her Instagram Stories showing her three children, including Hudston Anstead, playing indoor basketball together. The Flip or Flop star set the clip to the song “All I Do Is Win” by DJ Khaled.

The song’s chorus repeats the lyrics, “All I do is win, win, win no matter what.” Perhaps Haack was celebrating Anstead losing his petition for emergency custody of Hudson. Or maybe she was simply watching her kids play a friendly game of basketball and cheering them on.

The ‘Flip or Flop’ star shared a cryptic message about a ‘toxic person’

Christina Haack hasn’t shied away from social media amid her custody battle with Ant Anstead. On Apr. 28, the HGTV star shared an Instagram post about an unnamed man who is “threatened” by and needs to “possessively control” a “strong woman.”

“She will test you and see what you’re made of, just by being herself. Because the nature of a strong woman will identify who a man really is,” Haack’s post began. “If he feels threatened or has the need to possessively control her, it will be revealed.” The message appeared to be a quote from a different source rather than Haack’s own words.

She used another quote to caption the cryptic post. “‘When a toxic person can no longer control you, they will try to control how others see you,” Haack wrote. “The misinformation will feel unfair, but you stay above it, trusting that other people will eventually see the truth just like you did.’ – Jill Blakeway.”
