Valentine’s Day is all about love, but things might not be perfect between Christine Brown and her husband, David Woolley. At least, that’s what the rumor mill says. In recent weeks, rumors have surfaced that the pair, who wed in October 2023, have hit a rough patch. Christine isn’t letting those rumors run wild, though. The Sister Wives star is using the holiday to assure her fans and followers that her marriage to David Woolley is not, in fact, in trouble.

Christine Brown responds to rumors that her marriage is in trouble

If Christine Brown and David Woolley have marital issues, they hide it well on social media. While most reality TV stars opt not to comment on rumors about their personal lives, Christine Brown decided to shut down rumors about her romance with an Instagram post. On Feb. 12, the mother of six took to Instagram to insist her marriage is doing well.

In a surprise post, Christine shared several snaps of herself with David Woolley set to “Peekaboo” by Kendrick Lamar. She wrote that she’s always surprised by what she reads about herself in the news before suggesting her fans rest easy because she and Woolley “couldn’t be happier.”

Christine and David met in late 2022. They opted to go public with their relationship in February 2023. An engagement announcement followed not long after. The pair tied the knot in Utah in October 2023 and settled together in a new home in Lehi, Utah. Her marriage to David is Christine’s first legal marriage. She was previously spiritually married to Kody Brown for decades. David is a widow.

The ‘Sister Wives’ star has a history of insisting she’s happy

While Christine Brown insists she “couldn’t be happier” with David Woolley, not everyone is convinced all is right between the pair. Long before rumors of marital troubles for the pair surfaced, Sister Wives viewers questioned the relationship, including the speed at which the duo ran down the aisle. Some fans were also troubled by Woolley’s involvement in snark aimed at Kody Brown.

Some viewers have raised concerns about Christine’s propensity to “force” relationships and fake happiness. After all, she spent years in a miserable marriage to Kody Brown while telling the world she was perfectly content with him as a partner. Some viewers theorize that Christine’s “snark” posts prove she wasn’t over Kody completely when she moved into her next marriage, which could cause tension.
