Randolph and Underwood dated for almost two years before breaking up. At first, they had a falling out because Underwood planned to add a new chapter to his book about their relationship. Randolph claimed Underwood told her he planned to monetize their breakup. She claimed they first agreed to not speak publicly about their split.

She later filed for a restraining order against him on Sept. 11. She claimed he put a tracking device on her car. Randolph also claimed he would show up at her L.A. apartment and her parent’s house at Huntington Beach. She also claimed the former reality star sent her anonymous text messages, according to TMZ.

She also later filed a claim with the LA County Sheriff’s office. She again claimed Underwood put a tracking device under the bumper of her car, according to TMZ.

Her sister defended her after the news was released

Many outlets started reporting on the news about Randolph’s claims. She didn’t comment on it but her sister, Michelle Randolph did address some things on Instagram.

Michelle took a picture of an Us Weekly article claiming Underwood was blindsided by the restraining order. “This is such an obvious attempt to smear Cassie’s name to deflect from the seriousness of what was contained in the restraining order,” she wrote in her Instagram Story.

She also denied the rumor Cassie was trying to sell a show that included her family. “And for the record, I, nor my parents, have filmed or signed any contracts,” Michelle claimed. “My parents haven’t even spoken once to anyone involved in this potential show. The claims of him dropping out are false. He, his ‘source,’ and everyone involved knows that is a lie.”

Underwood gave an update on their situation on Nov. 3. He gave a statement about it to TMZ

“Today Cassie asked the court to dismiss the temporary restraining order against me,” he said. “The two of us were able to reach a private agreement to address any of Cassie’s concerns. I do not believe Cassie did anything wrong in filing for the restraining orders and also believe she acted in good faith. I appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy regarding this matter.”

Randolph did drop her restraining order against him and she can’t refile it. Randolph hasn’t made a statement about her decision yet. She is continuing to post to Instagram, but she hasn’t commented on her personal life for some time.
