The franchise’s stars have welcomed dozens of children over the years, some even born to couples who met on the set of The Bachelor or The Bachelorette. The franchise’s latest baby belongs to Colton Underwood and his husband, Jordan C. Brown. While the duo didn’t meet on one of the franchise’s dating shows, their baby boy’s entrance into the world is being celebrated by fans and stars alike.

Colton Underwood and Jordan C. Brown have expanded their family. The couple, who wed last year, took to Instagram to announce the birth of their first child together. Underwood revealed that their son, Bishop Colton Brown-Underwood, was born on Sept. 26. Bishop is the first child of Underwood and Brown. The baby boy was born via surrogacy.
Plenty of members of Bachelor Nation were quick to congratulate the pair. Chris Harrison, who hosted Underwood’s season of The Bachelor, wished the TV personality and his partner well on their new journey. Harrison’s wife, Lauren Zima, also offered her warm wishes. Several other reality TV stars have congratulated the couple in the comments section.
Underwood rose to fame when he appeared on The Bachelorette. Later, he joined the cast of Bachelor in Paradise and then served as a lead on The Bachelor. He has spent the last several months documenting his journey to fatherhood on his podcast, Daddyhood. Jordan C. Brown is a political strategist.

Underwood and Brown were first spotted together in September 2021, just five months after Underwood came out as gay. During a TV appearance, he explained an anonymous fan threatened to out him, so he opted to come out on his terms.
In December of the same year, Underwood and Brown made things official on Instagram. The couple’s relationship moved quickly. They announced their engagement in May 2022 and officially tied the knot in May 2023.
Since then, the couple has been living happily in a $3 million Sherman Oaks, California home. According to The New York Post, the couple purchased the property together in 2022, right around the time they got engaged. The property offers 3,300 square feet of living space, so they have plenty of room to grow their family.
