Colton Underwood Makes a Big Move on Instagram After Cassie Randolph Drops Restraining Order
After their breakup, Cassie Randolph got a restraining order against Colton Underwood and it was granted. She has dropped it and the former star of The Bachelor returned to Instagram in a surprising way.
Cassie Randolph got a restraining order against Colton Underwood
Underwood and Randolph broke up after almost two years of dating in June. They made a statement about their breakup on Instagram.
“Colton and I have broken up, but have decided to remain a part of each others lives,” read part of Randolph’s caption. “With all that we have gone through, we have a special bond that will always be there. I love Colton very much and have an enormous amount of respect for him. We have both learned and grown so much these past couple years, and will always have each others back. Always.”
The former couple later began to publicly feud. Eventually, Randolph got a restraining order against him in September.
She claimed Underwood put a tracking device under the bumper of her car. Randolph also claimed he showed up at her apartment and her parent’s home uninvited, according to TMZ. Underwood also allegedly knew who visited Randolph and confronted her about it.
“Ms. Randolph’s friend, Caelan, visited her at her apartment,” read the filing, according to Yahoo! “Mr. Underwood somehow immediately knew, and obsessively called and sent text messages to Ms. Randolph about the visit. Ms. Randolph was startled that he knew who was coming in and out of her apartment, and felt like she was being watched.” The restraining order was granted and extended.
She dropped the restraining order
Randolph reportedly dropped the restraining order on Nov. 4. Underwood made a statement about her decision.
“Today Cassie asked the court to dismiss the temporary restraining order against me,” he said, according to TMZ. “The two of us were able to reach a private agreement to address any of Cassie’s concerns. I do not believe Cassie did anything wrong in filing for the restraining orders and also believe she acted in good faith. I appreciate everyone’s respect for privacy regarding this matter.”
Randolph didn’t make a statement about her decision. She has given fans updates on Instagram throughout this process. Her last post was three days ago about her old Halloween costumes.
He deleted all of his Instagram posts
The former reality star deleted all of his posts on Instagram after the announcement. The account still exists.
Underwood hasn’t deleted his tweets. But his last one is from Aug. 17. “The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace. —Psalm 29:11,” reads the tweet.
It’s unclear why Underwood decided to delete his posts. But it looks like he might take a break from social media after the dropped restraining order.
