There was a time when many people didn’t know if King Charlessecond wife (formerly Camilla Parker Bowles) was ever going to be expected by the British public, but today, she’s the queen. And royal watchers were pretty impressed with the job she did and how she handled things when the monarch had to take a break from public engagements while he received treatment for cancer.

Now, a body language expert is discussing how stepping in for her husband boosted Camilla’s confidence as she has shown “dominance” and “control” by making her presence known every time she walks into a room. Here’s more on that and what the expert observed during the queen’s recent outing.

Expert explains how Queen Camilla shows ‘dominance’ and ‘owns every room’

Darren Stanton is a body language and behavioral expert with a degree in psychology. He previously worked as a police officer and used his expertise to uncover the truth when interviewing hundreds of suspects. He later moved into media and TV as a consultant and has been dubbed the “Human Lie Detector.”

Stanton has analyzed the body language of several members of the royal family as well and shared what he saw from Queen Camilla during her appearance at the new Gardening Bohemia Exhibition at The Garden Museum in London on June 12, 2023.

Speaking on behalf of Betfair Slingo, the expert explained: “Seeing Camilla at these recent royal events has shown how her confidence has grown immensely. This has come from putting herself out there alone as well as by the king’s side. Camilla owns every room she walks into. She holds her head high, with her shoulders back, and walks gracefully with a lot of ease.

“She follows in the footsteps of Princess Anne in that she believes in herself and holds a lot of dominance and control. She makes every engagement look easy and effortless. She always makes it known that she has a presence and deserves to be there.”

Queen Camilla’s actions are ‘very reminiscent’ of another royal as well

Stanton added that Queen Camilla’s actions lately remind him very much of how another royal always carried and presented themselves during royal engagements.

“Queen Camilla is a very confident person. She’s extremely experienced in navigating these events solo and it comes very naturally to her,” Stanton said. “When we look at the dynamic between Camilla and the guests, as well as how she carried herself during the engagement, it was all very reminiscent of Queen Elizabeth.

“She carried herself with elegance but also had an approachable manner. She made sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable in her presence. It’s clear Camilla enjoys meeting new people and carrying out her duties independently.”
