Royal Commentator Gives Scathing 4-Word Remark About Why Meghan Markle Has ‘The Worst Judgement in the World’
Things haven’t exactly gone the way Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had hoped after they stepped down as working royals in 2020.
While the two signed a mega-deal with Netflix, they haven’t been able to attract a decent amount of views for the streaming platform with any of their content other than the Harry & Meghan docuseries in which they discussed their time in the royal family. Moreover, Spotify ended its multi-million deal with the couple when they canceled the duchess’s podcast after just one season before a company executive called them “f****** grifters.” They were also mocked on late-night TV and in shows like South Park and The Family Guy. And the end of 2023 was so bad for the pair that they ended up on The Hollywood Reporter’s “Biggest Losers” list.
The Sussexes vowed that 2024 was going to be their “redemption year.” But so far Meghan revealed she was launching a lifestyle brand in March that still isn’t up and running. And these days the duchess has been busy trying to combat “demon boss” and “dictator in high heels” claims made publicly by her former staffers. Now, a royal author and commentator is discussing Meghan’s poor decision-making over the years that got her and her husband into this spot.
4 words the commentator used to describe Meghan’s judgment
Tina Brown is the former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair and The New Yorker. She was also one of Princess Diana’s confidants who met with the royal mere weeks before Diana died following a car crash in Paris. Brown, who later authored the princess’s biography titled The Diana Chronicles, shared her thoughts on Prince Harry’s wife and her decisions.
During an appearance on The Ankler podcast with Janice Win, Brown insisted that the former working royal has terrible judgment and is “addicted to drama.”
“The trouble with Meghan is that she has the worst judgment of anyone in the entire world,” Brown said.
She then summed that up in four words claiming that the Duchess of Sussex always “gets it all wrong,” adding: “She’s flawless about getting it all wrong. All of her ideas are total crap, unfortunately.”
Brown previously accused Meghan of “not understanding how hard her mother-in-law had to work to become a humanitarian superstar” and “completely underestimated what life without the palace platform would be like.”
The royal author had some thoughts about Prince Harry as well
Brown has called the Sussexes’ exit from the royal family a “disaster all around” but isn’t surprised because Harry just follows Meghan’s lead and over the years some people thought he secretly wanted to leave.
Brown explained: “[Harry is] the lamb to the slaughter in this situation. And he just sort of blindly followed her like a child really.”
She added that the duke is a “very impetuous man” who Palace advisors “thought would leave” saying: “He was so fragile, so combustible, he was so unhappy, frankly, in the constraints of the royal family.”
