‘Counting On’ Fans Think Joy-Anna Duggar Already Secretly Gave Birth to Baby No 2
Counting On stars Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth announced in the spring that they were expecting baby number two. Joy-Anna has been documenting her pregnancy on Instagram and on the couple’s YouTube channel Follow the Forsyths. However, a recent change in routine has some fans thinking that Joy-Anna has secretly given birth to her daughter.
Another ‘Counting On’ baby shower
As fans know, Joy-Anna is one of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s 19 children. Her second baby will be the 18th grand-Duggar born into the family. The Duggars are pros when it comes to baby showers.
In July, the Duggar ladies got together for Joy’s baby shower. Pictures from the event show that the party featured white, yellow, and rose gold decorations. The Duggar women enjoyed some games and Joy-Anna opened gifts.
The mom-to-be also posed for photos with her mom and her sisters Jana, Jessa, Johanna, Jennifer, Jordyn, and Josie. Fans also noticed that Jill Duggar showed up for the festivities, as well as Joy-Anna’s sisters-in-law, and her bestie, Carlin Bates.
Jill doesn’t show up often at Duggar events anymore. Her husband, Derick Dillard, has revealed that they need Jim Bob’s permission to visit the family home.
Baby showers are a regular event in the Duggar household. But, there is one thing that Joy-Anna is planning for this pregnancy that goes against family tradition.
Joy-Anna Duggar is planning to give birth in a hospital
Joy-Anna and Austin are already the parents of two-year-old Gideon, who they welcomed in February 2018. Ahead of her son’s birth, Joy-Anna planned on delivering at home, as is Duggar tradition. However, complications forced Austin to rush Joy-Anna to the hospital.
This time around, Joy-Anna is planning on giving birth to baby number two in the hospital. However, she said in a YouTube video that she is torn about her mom and sisters not being allowed in the hospital.
“I’m torn because with all this COVID stuff, which I totally understand why, but it’s just hard because my mom’s not going to be able to be there and my sisters aren’t going to be able to be at my birth,” the 22-year-old said. “It’s just going to be Austin and I.”
Joy-Anna said she was hopeful that they could get a hospital room with a window. This would allow her family to see her daughter when she is born.
Did Joy-Anna Duggar already give birth?
Joy-Anna and Austin have officially left Counting On, but they are keeping fans up-to-date on social media. She has been consistently posting throughout the summer, but that completely changed in August.
The mom-of-one was posting multiple times each week. But in August, Joy-Anna has only posted three times. In those photos, fans noticed that Joy-Anna’s belly had “dropped,” indicating that the baby is coming soon.
Between the drop and the lack of posts, some fans believe that Joy-Anna has secretly given birth and is just waiting to introduce her daughter to the world.
The Sun pointed out that one fan excitedly commented, “Joy’s not posted maybe she’s had the baby!” Another added, “My guess is she went into labor the night she posted this!”
However, the next day, Joy-Anna posted another picture marking 39 weeks. She wrote in the caption,” Anytime now, Baby girl!💕”
