The Duggar family is about to get a bit larger. Joy-Anna Duggar is pregnant with her second child with husband Austin Forsyth and set to give birth in the next few weeks, she shared on Instagram. But some of her followers think the baby might arrive ahead of schedule.

Joy-Anna, 22, took to Instagram on August 5 to share a mirror selfie and pregnancy update with her fans.

“How are we only a couple of weeks away from meeting our baby girl?!? We couldn’t be more excited!” she wrote. “Being patient is hard, but I’m trying to cherish these last days with just the 3 of us!”

The Counting On star (who is rumored to have recently quit filming the TLC show) is due August 19. She and her husband revealed in March that they were expecting a girl. They also have a 2-year-old son named Gideon.

“Awww …love everything about this! We can’t wait to meet this baby girl!” Joy-Anna’s BFF Carlin Bates of Bringing Up Bates commented.

Though Joy-Anna’s due date is roughly two weeks away, some of her followers think the baby might arrive ahead of schedule. They noticed that it looked like the baby had already dropped, which means the expecting mama could be just days away from going into labor.

“So exciting! Think it will be sooner then 2 weeks though,” one wrote.

“She’s not waiting a couple of weeks, she’s so low,” another person commented.

When a baby drops — or moves lower in a woman’s pelvis — it’s a sign labor will begin relatively soon. However, every pregnancy is different. In some cases, a baby may drop weeks before a woman goes into labor, Healthline noted.

In March 2020, Joy-Anna and Austin announced they were expecting baby No. 2. The happy news came nine months after the couple revealed Joy-Anna had miscarried at 20 weeks. They had gone in for an ultrasound and gender reveal, only to learn that their baby did not have a heartbeat.

“We have cried countless tears,” she shared in a July 2019 Instagram update where she let people know the sad news. “But we know that we can trust the Lord.”

Joy-Anna reflected on the painful experience of losing her baby in a June 26 Instagram post.

“It’s been a year since we found out that we lost Annabell,” she wrote. “I remember leaving our ultrasound appointment, sobbing and wondering how we were ever going to move forward … It hurts to look back at these pictures and remember the pain and heartbreak, but when I do look back I am so thankful for how far we’ve come.”

“God has given us more joy, peace, & healing than I ever thought we would have again,” she added.
