‘Counting On’: Some Think Jeremy Vuolo Seems ‘Bored’ in His Marriage to Jinger Duggar
Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo star on TLC’s Counting On alongside the rest of the Duggar family. The two have been married since 2016, and when they first wed, everyone thought they were having plenty of fun together. However, as time goes on, some critics of the show can’t help but think that Vuolo seems bored in his marriage.
Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo were once the rebellious couple
When Duggar and Vuolo first wed, they immediately moved to Texas, where Vuolo was working as a pastor. The two began attending sporting events and meeting people in the neighborhood; they documented their married life on social media.
Fans were excited to see the couple having so much fun. The two often went out to dinner and explored different events in their neighborhood. Plus, Duggar began watching television and even dyed her hair, and fans thought the two were a breath of fresh air compared with the strict rules of the Duggar family.
Vuolo was raised differently than his wife
Vuolo was homeschooled for part of his life, but he did attend a regular school in high school. From there, he went on to attend college, where he played soccer. He wasn’t nearly as sheltered as Duggar and listened to artists such as the Backstreet Boys and Boyz II Men.
In a past episode during season 10 of Counting On, Duggar and Vuolo explored the Hollywood Walk of Fame while they visited Los Angeles. Vuolo was thrilled upon seeing the Hollywood stars of some of his favorite celebrities, but Duggar looked a bit lost and admitted that she’d hardly ever heard of anyone whose name lined the walkway.
Critics think Vuolo seems ‘bored’ in his marriage
In the season premiere of Counting On, Duggar and Vuolo start their road trip across the country as they relocate from Texas to Los Angeles, California. Throughout the trip, they stop in various places to sight see. At one point, Vuolo even jumps off the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas, while Duggar and Felicity watch from below.
Reddit users tend to criticize the Duggars, and upon watching the season premiere, fans couldn’t help but think that Vuolo seemed bored in his marriage. “Do you think there’s a lot Jeremy suppresses about himself? I think [he] probably… Just wants to have fun sometimes but maybe can’t,” someone suggested in a Reddit thread. “Jeremy probably daydreams about going to LA bars to listen to rock music,” someone else joked. “He has to be bored with [Jinger],” another user added, suggesting that Vuolo and Duggar don’t have a lot to talk about.
The two are getting ready to welcome their second child
Duggar and Vuolo seem to have a strong relationship, and we might never know whether or not their conversations are a bit boring. But the two do seem excited to be welcoming their second child later this year. In late May, Duggar and Vuolo announced that baby no. 2 is on the way after going through a miscarriage last year. Perhaps their lives will become a little more exciting with two kids.
