Jessa Duggar Just Posted the Sweetest Video of Her Husband and Daughter — and Fans Are Obsessed
Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald have three kids, and it’s clear that both are hands-on in their kids’ lives. Growing up, Duggar’s family was very traditional, and it was mostly up to her mother to raise the children while her father worked. But now that she’s grown and married, she and Seewald seem to be taking a more equal role in raising their kids — and Duggar’s recent video of Seewald and their daughter, Ivy Jane, is so sweet.

Duggar was the second daughter to tie the knot shortly after her older sister, Jill Duggar, married Derick Dillard. When everything with Josh Duggar’s sexual abuse scandal broke in 2015, Jill and Jessa starred on the TLC spinoff show, Jill and Jessa: Counting On. These days, it’s just called Counting On, but Jessa Duggar is still a main cast member on the show. She and Seewald have since welcomed three kids, and Duggar is a stay-at-home mom who spends her days figuring out parenthood and sharing her tips with other moms.
Duggar and Seewald are both hands-on parents
Growing up, Duggar’s mom did most of the housework and taught the kids. Though Duggar and her father were always close, Jim Bob was the one who worked all day while his wife cared for the kids and the home. But now that Duggar is married and moved out, she and her husband are taking on parenthood slightly differently.
Though Duggar stays at home while Seewald makes the money, they seem to share an equal role in caring for their children. Seewald recently posted a photo of himself doing the dishes while his two younger kids watched, showing that he and Duggar are somewhat breaking away from those traditional gender roles.

Seewald has proven time and time again that he’s a super caring father. And Duggar just posted a video of him holding Ivy Jane while brushing his teeth (or trying to, at least). In the video, Ivy continuously tried to eat her dad’s toothbrush, and fans couldn’t help but laugh at how sweet it was. Duggar then gave Ivy her own brush, and she enjoyed it because it meant she could do what her father was doing.
“I cannot even wrap my head around how cute this is,” one user wrote. “So sweet! And, such a great helper,” someone else commented. “Such a sweet video,” another person added.
The two will likely have another baby soon
Though Ivy hasn’t even turned one yet, another baby might already be on Duggar and Seewald’s radar. The couple welcomed three kids in five years, which shows that they don’t wait too long between pregnancies. And a few years back, Duggar once joked that she might even have as many kids as her mom. Though that’s unlikely, the two have mentioned that they want to eventually adopt, which means they’ll most likely be expanding their family — and we wouldn’t be surprised if some kind of announcement comes fairly soon.
