‘Counting On’: Did Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo Just Hint They’re Moving Back to Texas?
Counting On stars Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo have been living in Los Angeles for the past two years. The couple relocated from Laredo, Texas, once Vuolo realized he wanted to earn a higher degree from the Master’s Seminary.
Vuolo recently posted a nostalgic photo on social media, and fans can’t help but wonder if he’s dropping hints about potentially returning to the Lone Star state.
Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo loved their time in Texas
When Duggar and Vuolo started courting, Vuolo was already living in Laredo. The former professional soccer player had become a pastor and worked for a church in the Laredo area. After the two tied the knot, they relocated to Laredo and moved into Vuolo’s house.
The couple welcomed their first child, Felicity, while living in Texas. It’s also the city that helped Duggar break out of her shell. She had been reserved growing up in the Duggar household, but once she moved in with her husband, she began wearing pants (sometimes even shorts) and enjoying more mainstream activities such as music and sports. Ultimately, though, the two relocated to California in June 2019 after Vuolo announced he was pursuing a higher degree at the Master’s Seminary.
Jeremy Vuolo just posted a heartfelt caption about his former city
Duggar and Vuolo haven’t returned to Texas much since they moved out. However, Vuolo’s recent Instagram post made it clear that he’s still not over leaving the state. Vuolo told fans that he returned to Laredo to officiate a wedding, and that he remembered everything he loved about the city.
“I missed the food,” Vuolo wrote in the caption of his Instagram slideshow. “More than anything, though, I missed the people. Neighbors, friends, colleagues … Family. It was good to be back. Difficult to leave.”
Vuolo posted a series of photos of his return trip, but his line about it being “difficult to leave” had fans commenting that it’s not too late for him to return.
“It’s time to come back to Texas!” one fan wrote.
“Maybe you weren’t intended to move…” another user commented.
“You can always move back,” someone else wrote. “There’s a Grace Church waiting for you to come back!”
Vuolo didn’t speak on whether he and Duggar plan to return to Texas full-time, but his post certainly had fans questioning the couple’s next move.
Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo haven’t revealed what their next steps are
Fans have wondered for quite a while what Duggar and Vuolo plan to do once he’s done with school. The two moved into an updated home in Los Angeles for free when Vuolo began attending the Master’s Seminary, and fans have assumed that the couple will have to move out of the home once he graduates.
Still, the two haven’t indicated whether they plan to stay in LA or move on to their next adventure. The couple welcomed their second child out in California, so LA certainly has sentimental meaning to them in the same way as Laredo. Perhaps the two won’t stay permanently in either location, though, and will find somewhere entirely new. Whatever their decision, they’ve kept quiet about it.
