When an angsty banker threatened to tear down Country Bear Hall, it was up to one lovable brown bear, named Beary Barrington, and the Country Bears’ manager to get the band back together.
This proves to be a challenge, especially with one of the members still bitter about the band breaking up. This live-action movie featured characters from Disney’s amusement park attraction, as well as a few new faces.
The Country Bears premiered in 2002 and, since then, has become a favorite flick of Disney fans. This film featured cameos from celebrities like Elton John, Queen Latifah, and other artists.

This film is based on the Disneyland attraction, The Country Bear Jamboree, which featured animatronic versions of characters like Henry and Big Al. However, this wasn’t the only time Disney created a live-action film based on an iconic attraction.
The Pirates of the Caribbean attraction sparked a film of the same title, starring Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom. That film then inspired Disney to update its ride, including characters like Captain Jack Sparrow in its story.
There’s the Haunted Mansion film, starring Eddie Murphy, which is available on Disney+. Recently, Walt Disney Studios announced the action/adventure film starring Emily Blunt and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jungle Cruise.
This movie is inspired by the theme park attraction featured in Walt Disney World and Disneyland. It will premiere during 2021, both in theaters and with “Premier Access” on Disney’s subscription service.
