Cree Cicchino will play Brady Hobbes girlfriend in ‘Sex and the City’ reboot
Brady is the son of Miranda and Steve Brady (David Eigenberg), and like his parents, he’ll get a dose of what it’s like dating in New York. For the Sex and the City reboot, producers decided to give Brady a girlfriend. According to Deadline, Cree Cicchino has been cast as Brady’s significant other, Luisa Torres.
Cicchino’s career began as a child star, and by the age of 13, she landed her first major role on the Nickelodeon comedy Game Shakers. Following the show’s cancellation in 2019, Cicchino co-starred alongside comedian Gabriel Iglesias in the Netflix series Mr. Iglesias. She also had a supporting role in the Netflix movie The Sleepover.
‘Sex and the City’ kids to be a central focus of the reboot
Aside from the show’s leading ladies, And Just Like That… also appears to be focusing on Charlotte and Miranda’s grown children. Charlotte’s daughters Lily and Rose Goldenblatt (Cathy Ang and Alexa Swinton) will also be making appearances in the reboot. As reported by People, Ang and Swinton were recently spotted on set filming alongside their on-screen parents Davis and Evan Handler.
One of the key storylines in the Sex and the City show and movies were Charlotte and Miranda’s adjustments to motherhood. The ladies thought they had a difficult time with infants and toddlers, but they’ll have their work cut out when it comes to teenagers.
What does ‘Sex and the City’ have in store for Brady Hobbes and Luisa Torres?
The addition of Brady’s girlfriend to the Sex and the City reboot has fans intrigued. Although it’s unknown what the storyline is for the young couple, their relationship will undoubtedly be a main part of the reboot. Miranda will surely be involved in her son’s dating life.
Miranda is an outspoken character and wasn’t afraid to share her thoughts on her friends’ relationships. With her baby boy now dating, Miranda may have trouble letting her son go. She may also be skeptical over whether Luisa is the right woman for Brady. Whatever happens, it’s sure to cause chaos in the Hobbes household.
