Damon Dash Slams Kim Kardashian West for Speaking About Kanye West’s Mental Health
Fans of Kanye West are accustomed to Kanye’s rants but his latest raised eyebrows when he spoke negatively of the Kardashian family. Kim is standing by Kanye’s side, explaining that Kanye is in the middle of a bipolar episode and requesting compassion for her husband. But Kanye’s former label head, Damon Dash, disagrees with Mrs. West.

Kim broke her silence as Kanye’s Twitter fingers spewed allegations of Kim trying to have Kanye committed to a mental institution.
Kanye also threw jabs at Kim’s beloved mother, Kris Jenner, criticizing her for managerial decisions she’s made in Kim’s career, including Kim posing for Playboy Magazine.
In a lengthy Instagram message to her 180 million fans, Kim is seeking empathy from the public during what she calls “a difficult time.”

As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar [sic] disorder…I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health…Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words some times do not align with his intentions…I kindly ask that the media and public give us the compassion and empathy that is needed so that we can get through this.

Damon Dash slams Kim Kardashian West for her statement on Kanye West’s bipolar disorder
Dash flew to Kanye’s Wyoming ranch to be with his longtime pal amid rumors of Kanye’s mental health episode. In an interview with Page Six, Dash disagrees with Kim’s assessment of Kanye.
Dash slams the rapper’s wife for putting out what he feels is a false narrative of what Kanye is going through.
Dash does not believe Kim’s version of events and told the publication that he doesn’t “give a f–k” what Kim thinks about his interpretation.
“People think he lost his mind just because he cried. The way he lost his mind and jumped on a jet and then jumped off the jet to come back to his 40,000-acre ranch? Yeah, I’d like to lose my mind like that,” Dash said.
Dash also says that Kanye has enough people around him who are ensuring he’s in the best mental state possible.
“There’s definitely people around him that love him and he’s going to be all right. We are praying, we are working. People think like we are in an insane asylum [but] we got an album coming out,” he insisted.
TMZ reports that Kim has forbid Keeping Up With the Kardashian producers from filming anything related to what’s happening with Kanye.
A source tells the media outlet that Kim is in protective mode of her and West’s four children and does not want the footage available for her children to see of their father in the future.
