‘Dance Moms’: Do Maddie Ziegler and Chloé Lukasiak Still Hang Out?
When Dance Moms first premiered on Lifetime, the cast couldn’t have predicted just how wildly popular the show would become. In fact, the show was originally only slated to be a few episodes. But thanks to the drama that the show provided, the series continued for 8 seasons and became one of Lifetime’s most beloved shows. Furthermore, even though the original members of the Dance Moms cast have long since parted ways with the show, fans are still invested in their lives.
Two of the most popular members of the Dance Moms cast are Chloé Lukasiak and Maddie Ziegler. While Ziegler was often thought of as the studio favorite, constantly receiving praise and acclaim from Abby Lee Miller, Lukasiak was often viewed as the fan-favorite with millions of fans following her every move. Both Ziegler and Lukasiak showcased extreme talent on the show and were often thought of as the best dancers on the team.

Unfortunately, because Ziegler and Lukasiak were such strong dancers, they were often pitted against one another by Miller and the Dance Moms producers. Though the girls were very close friends, the show continued to force a rivalry between them. It didn’t help that their mothers were often at odds as well and when Lukasiak first quit the show, the pair lost touch completely.
But are the pair in contact today? As the dancers both live in LA, it wouldn’t be so hard for them to get together from time to time. Dance Moms fans need only look at the Instagram pages of the original cast to see that many of the dancers still hang out today. Nia Sioux often hangs out with Ziegler and Lukasiak and posts videos and pictures of their time together. But fans have yet to see any proof that Ziegler and Lukasiak are still in contact.
Are the former cast members still friends?
But just because Lukasiak and Ziegler don’t document their time together doesn’t mean that they don’t see each other on occasion. In fact, former Dance Moms cast members Paige Hyland and Brooke Hyland recently posted a Q & A video that confirmed that Lukasiak and Ziegler are still in contact today.
“That is so funny that that is one of the questions because they’re actually coming over in a half-hour,” Brooke declared when asked if she was still in contact with her fellow Dance Moms alums. “Yeah, I was gonna say they are gonna be here like any minute,” Paige added in agreement. “Maddie, Chloe, and Nia are coming over. Kendall is in Pittsburgh, I believe, so she can’t make it, unfortunately.”
The original ‘Dance Moms’ cast is still close today
Brooke continued on to share that all the OG Dance Moms girls are still very close and that their relationships felt like a sisterhood. “It’s like one of those relationships that we can go a year without talking, but yet if I called any one of the moms or the girls they would do anything for me and it’s reciprocated,” she revealed. We’re sure Dance Moms fans will be glad to hear that the original cast (including Ziegler and Lukasiak) are still in contact today. After everything that the show put them through, we imagine they’re bonded for life.
