How did Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green meet?
Green and Megan Fox met in 2004 on the set of Hope & Faith. Fox was just 18 at the time. At first, Green was unsure about the age difference between them.
“I had to convince him that I was slightly more responsible and well-spoken and had other things to bring to the table besides being 18,” Fox said of the beginning of their relationship, according to Us Weekly. They got engaged in 2006 but ended the relationship in 2009. The next year, the pair got married in June. They have three children together, Noah, Journey, and Bodhi.
Megan and Brian’s breakup
The pair stayed together for almost 10 years before Green admitted that they had started to drift.
“Neither one of us did anything to each other,” he said on an episode of his With Brian Austin Green podcast in May 2020. “She’s always been honest with me and I’ve always been honest with her. And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family, what we have built is really cool and really special. So we decided let’s make sure we don’t lose that. That no matter what we’re always friends with each other and we’re a united front with the kids.”
For Green, the split was hard.
“It sucks when life changes and something that you’re used to, that you’ve been doing for 15 years, you try and not get rid of but you change,” he said. “There’s the unknown aspect…there’s that pit in my stomach. I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds…she’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that.”
Fox is now dating rapper Colson Baker, better known as Machine Gun Kelly. Green has also started dating again and is in a relationship with dancer Sharna Burgess.
