Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach are the Mirrorball Champions of ‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 30 

After combining the judges’ scores with fan votes, Iman Shumpert and Daniella Karagach took home the Mirrorball Trophy during the Nov. 22 finale. He is the first NBA player to make it to the finale of DWTS. Amanda Kloots and Alan Bersten took fourth place; Cody Rigsby and Cheryl Burke took third; JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson took second place.

Fans are ecstatic Iman Shumpert is the season 30 Mirrorball Champion

Dancing with the Stars fans on Twitter are elated about Shumpert’s win. “SO DESERVED!” replied one fan to a tweet from the DWTS Twitter account. “Love these results!” 

“Congratulations!!” tweeted another fan. “Perfect top 2 and very much deserved!!” Many Dancing with the Stars viewers predicted Shumpert and Karagach would take home the win. 

‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 30 finale dances and songs 

Each couple performed two dances during the two-hour finale special. First, the duos dances a fusion, which combines two styles of dance set to the same song. They also performed a freestyle dance meant to showcase the celebrity and their evolution on the show.

The Talk‘s Kloots performed a Viennese waltz and paso doble fusion with Bersten to “Never Tear Us Apart” by Bishop Briggs. Their freestyle was set to “A Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay.

Peloton star and fitness guru Rigsby danced a paso doble and cha cha fusion to “Free Your Mind” by En Vogue. As his partner Burke teased during semi-finals week, their fusion was unlike anything seen before on Dancing with the Stars. The #BooCrew performed a freestyle to a medley of “Beethoven’s Fifth” and “Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels (Just Dance Version)” by Todrick Hall.

Siwa and Johnson danced a tango and cha cha fusion to “I Love It” by Icona Pop featuring Charli XCX. Their freestyle was set to “Born This Way” by House of Gucci star Lady Gaga

Basketball star Shumpert performed a cha cha and foxtrot fusion dance to “September” by Earth, Wind & Fire with his partner Karagach. Then they danced a freestyle to “Lose Control” by Missy Elliot feating Ciara and Fat Man Scoop and “Bounce” by DJ Clent. 

‘DWTS’ Season 30 finale featured performances by Jimmie Allen and Spice Girl Mel C 

Just like Dancing with the Stars has done before, the celebrities cast in season 30 returned for the big finale show. Country star Jimmie Allen, who danced with Emma Slater this season, performed his single “Good Times Roll” during the finale.  

Plus, Spice Girl Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm also sang “2 Become 1” during the DWTS finale. She competed with Gleb Savchenko until the judges eliminated them during Grease Night. 

‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 31 

At the time of publication, Dancing with the Stars has not been confirmed for another season. If and when season 31 is confirmed, it won’t likely air until the fall of 2022.
