Danielle Busby from ‘OutDaughtered’ Reveals Her No. 1 Pet Peeve
Danielle Busby can’t deal with clutter. On June 13, the OutDaughtered star shared 13 fun facts about herself, including her pet peeve, with her nearly 1 million Instagram followers. The thing that really gets on her nerves is something that many people — especially parents — will relate to.
She hates a mess
This mom of six confessed that the thing that really bothers her is “Messes and things not being organized.” We bet many parents feel her pain.
Fortunately, Busby has some smart strategies for keeping the chaos at bay. She suggests getting the kids involved in keeping things neat by making cleanup a game (like giving them a time limit for putting everything away), using photo labels to clearly identify the contents of storage bins, and purchasing items like benches that can do double-duty as places to hide toys.
But the quint mom admits that maintaining order when you’re living in a house with six kids — including five four-year-olds — can be a challenge. In early May she gave people a look inside the quints’ closet, revealing a messy pile of shoes all over the floor.
“I’m not even quite sure why I even try to keep a kid’s closet organized because this what happens,” she captioned the video.
Her favorite drink is Dr. Pepper
In addition to her pet peeves, Busby shared some other fun facts about herself. One way she gets through the day? Plenty of water and Dr. Pepper. Though she’s not afraid to admit that sometimes she indulges in something a little stronger, including “tequila (lol)” on her list of favorite drinks. As for food, her go-to meal is pasta, but she also says that “ketchup is life.”
The 35-year-old’s other faves include Justin Timberlake, the movie Dumb and Dumber, and the Real Housewives franchise (though she added that her other favorite TV show is OutDaughtered — naturally!). Her loves include “Jesus, family, fitness, travel, and lipgloss.”
When it comes to advice, Busby had this to share: “Tomorrow will be here tomorrow but today is today, so be here today.”
Will the Busbys ever have more kids?
Between six kids, a popular reality TV show, and other responsibilities — like Danielle’s new fitness clothing business — the Busbys clearly have busy lives. So is there any chance that they’d add one more thing to their plates and have another baby?
Not anytime soon, according to the couple. “Shop’s closed,” Danielle told US Weekly. “It would be nice to have a little boy and carry on the Busby name here, but there won’t be any more children unless one day God put it on our hearts to adopt,” she added.
Husband Adam echoed his wife’s comments on adoption, saying it’s something they would “never completely shut the door on.”
“It’s something we’ll always stay open minded to,” he told the magazine. “As far as … her birthing any more children, no, that’s not going to happen.”
