‘Darcey & Stacey’: Darcey and Georgi Address Fan Concerns About Their Engagement
90 Day Fiancé fans have been watching Darcey Silva and her new man, Georgi Rusev, fall in love and make it work on TLC’s Darcey & Stacey. Though the couple recently announced their engagement, their relationship hasn’t exactly been drama-free.
Many TLC fans have been watching Darcey look for love since 2017 when she first appeared on the franchise, and they’re concerned she’s going to be left broken-hearted yet again. Georgi has a message for those fans.

On Oct. 14, People announced that Darcey and Georgi are officially engaged.
“I still feel newly engaged,” Darcey told the publication–the actual proposal took place in June. “I haven’t been able to really celebrate it yet with everybody. I want to be able to shout it to the world. It was definitely a total surprise for me. Georgi and I have a very deep connection, and I feel like in that moment I was not expecting it at all.”

90 Day Fiancé fans have watched Darcey go for “the wrong guy” a few times now. Naturally, they’re concerned she’s doing it again.
“I appreciate the fans… but I just gotta follow my heart and trust and know that he will be there and love me forever the way he says he does,” she told Entertainment Tonight on Oct. 16. “I definitely feel that sincerity in him.”
Georgi also has a message for those concerned about his intentions with Darcey.
“I can say everything is good between us,” he told the site. “I have her back, always going to have her back, and I’m always going to love her. I’m always going to be there for her. I guess that’s why the things between us are working really well because we’ve both been divorced, we’re both protecting each other, we both have each other’s backs, we support each other.”
“You can tell them I’m there for her and always,” he continued. “That’s who I am and we always have each other’s backs.”
Darcey wants a ‘twin’ televised wedding with sister Stacey Silva
Darcey told ET that she’d love to have a beach wedding with Georgi. She also wants it on TV.
“I think it would be absolutely beautiful to televise a wedding, Stacey too I think, because obviously she got engaged during quarantine and I think she wants her fairytale wedding as well,” she said. “Maybe we’ll do it twin style, or not, we’ll see what the future holds. But nonetheless, I think it’d be very beautiful and such a blessing for us to share that journey along with you guys as well. And you know, hey, two is always better than one, so, why not?”
