‘Darcey & Stacey’: Darcey and Stacey Silva Discuss Going to Los Angeles
On the new series Darcey & Stacey, Darcey and Stacey Silva have a conversation recently that could change the course of their future. As the sisters have a successful fashion line called House of Eleven, this week, they discuss going back to Los Angeles because of it. Read on to learn more.
Darcey and Stacey Silva discuss their company and a possible move to LA
Darcey and Stacey meet up for pedicures, and they discuss future plans with their company. House of Eleven is the Silva’s fashion line that they started with their father, Mike, in 2010. It was created after the twins were divorced in Los Angeles, and in honor of their brother, Michael, who passed away from cancer. Michael was born on May 11, and he died on July 11, which is where the 11 comes from.
“Our company has been on my mind a lot lately,” Darcey tells her twin. “I’m ready to do that all over again. We had one shot before. This is the second shot Stace,” Darcey says. She says she’s “excited,” but wants to make sure her sister is on board.
The twins love fashion, and it’s obvious from anyone who has seen either one of them on the series. Their brand has been in department stores, as well as a part of fashion week. The sky seemed to be the limit, but as Stacey puts it, they “chose love.” “And we focused more on our relationships,” Stacey explains to producers. “Just felt like our vision got lost.”
It sounds like the Silva twins are thinking about moving to LA, which could really benefit their business. “I just feel like it’s time to go back and focus on our legacy again,” Darcey tells her sister. Stacey agrees, and says she wants to go to LA. She says they should take a trip over there first and look at housing options.
“I feel like this is the start of a new beginning for the both of us,” Darcey explains. “We deserve it.” Stacey says LA is where all their vendors are, so it makes sense for them to go back.
Darcey broaches the subject with her daughters, but how do they take it?
How will Darcey’s children take it? Darcey takes her daughters ice skating where she plans to talk to them about her trip to LA, and what they think about possibly moving back there. Darcey sits down with Aniko and Aspen, and they discuss the situation.
She says that her and Stacey are going to LA, and she plans to look at schools and places. “I wanna make sure that this is the right decision for the three of us,” Darcey explains. “I only want to do it, if you guys want to do it.”
Aniko mentions that it’s going to be an “adjustment.” The girls seem to be on board, and Aspen says she wants to go back there. Aniko says she’s even interested in going to college out in California, so it seems to be working out for everyone involved.
It looks like the future is bright and they could be heading for the West Coast. “It feels so good watching my mom go after her dreams,” Aspen says to the cameras. “Because I see her thriving, and I’m like, ‘I wanna be like that.’”
It sounds like Darcey and Stacey may be moving back to California in the near future. They are making plans, but first they need to visit LA again. We’ll see how things play out for everyone involved.
