‘Darcey & Stacey’ Season 3: Fans Speculate Whether Stacey and Florian Are a Real Couple
Darcey & Stacey is, arguably, one of the most successful spinoffs of the super-smash TLC hit, 90 Day Fiancé. The show focuses on the trials and travails of twin sisters Darcey Silva and Stacey Silva. But many fans are wondering if Stacey and her husband, Florian Sukaj, are a real couple — or if they’re just pretending for the cameras.
Some fans think their relationship is a sham
While there are some fans of Darcey & Stacey who enjoy watching Stacey and Florian ham it up for the cameras, there are many on Reddit who believe that the pair are only involved with one another “for the cameras.”
“I think they have a mutually beneficial relationship— she pays for him, he’s a kept man, and he deals with her s**t and sleeps with her,” wrote one fan. “My opinion is that he’s made a decision to ride this out as far as it goes, as it’s better than whatever hustling he used to do,” wrote another fan. And still another fan believes that Florian is nothing short of a saint for dealing with high-maintenance Stacey. “I think we have to keep in mind just how annoying Darcy and Stacy can be! They’re super overbearing and over the top/dramatic and clingy. It’s like no matter who the man is they seem to find a way to trigger them and frustrate them,” the fan wrote.
On ‘Darcey & Stacey,’ Florian is Stacey’s model husband whom she met on Instagram
According to InTouch Weekly, Stacey met Florian when he was modeling on Instagram.
Stacey explained that she started “liking” his photos, and he liked hers back. Finally, she decided to DM (direct message) him, and the rest is history.
The pair were engaged for five years before finally tying the knot. “After about six months of talking to each other, I decided to book a flight and go to Albania,” the Darcey & Stacey star said. “He proposed fairly quickly, 10 days after we met [face to face]. He didn’t speak any English, really. But the way he looked at me — I just felt that love and just didn’t really want that moment to end, so I said yes.”
Florian was accused of cheating on Stacey last season
Last season on Darcey & Stacey, though, Florian and Stacey hit a rough patch. At that time, Florian revealed that he hadn’t been loyal to Stacey.
According to Us Weekly, Florian claimed he’d only kissed another woman. He insisted that he didn’t sleep with her. And he begged Stacey to forgive him because he didn’t mean to hurt her. “I just kiss her. Kiss her a little bit,” he said. “Kiss her, I don’t feel any passion. I don’t feel anything important. [Nor do I] feel any love. I just love you,” he said.
We will just have to tune in to upcoming episodes of Darcey & Stacey to see if their relationship is the real deal.
