Dave Chappelle Pranked by the Kardashian-Jenners in FaceTime Call
Dave Chappelle is known for his hilarious antics and wisecracks about others. But this time, the joke was on him. The Chappelle’s Show funnyman found himself at the center of a prank by the Kardashian-Jenner family in a new video published over the weekend of Dec. 4. Take a look, below.
The Kardashian-Jenner family pranked several of their celebrity friends
For a video for Kylie Jenner’s Tik Tok, she and her family — mom Kris Jenner and siblings Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian, and Kendall Jenner — decided to prank some of their celebrity friends.
The stunt involved them sitting still and stoically while dialing up several people — including Justin Bieber, Addison Rae, Tristan Thompson, and Travis Scott — and staying silent when they answered.
Towards the end of the video, they called Chappelle, who had been smoking. Once his eyes focused on the screen, he jumped back, exclaiming, “Holy sh*t!” The video then cuts to a clip of the family calling Hailey Bieber and Kylie’s best friend Stassie Karanikolaou before it ends.
Dave Chappelle’s response to the Kardashian-Jenner prank call left social media users in stitches
After the video made its way online, fans hit the comment section to react. A lot of them were amused by many of the reactions. But out of everyone in the video, some people felt that Chappelle had the best one.
“This was the one. 😂,” one person wrote under Kim’s re-post along with a screenshot of Chappelle’s face. “I kept this on repeat just to wait for Dave Chappelle’s face ❤️❤️,” commented another.
“Dave Chappelle had me dying lmao,” said a third tweet while a fourth read, “It’s Luka [Sabbat] and Dave Chappelle’s reactions for me 😂😂😂”
The video comes as the Kardashian-Jenner family continues to film the final season of their show
The video arrives amid production on the final season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Kim previously announced on Instagram in September that the show would be ending in 2021 after “what will be 14 years, 20 seasons, hundreds of episodes and numerous spin-off shows.”
She later explained to Grazia magazine that she and her family decided to end the show out of exhaustion after dedicating so much time and energy to it since 2007.
“This was a dream of all of ours. We never imagined we would get onto season two. Now we’re on twenty. Sometimes we just need a break. It’s really simple,” she explained.
Plot details for the upcoming season are scarce, but maybe we’ll get to see more hilarious pranks like this on the show. We’ll see.
