While an order of protection prevents Eason from talking about his famous, estranged wife, nothing prevents Heatwole and Eason from trying to sell her relationship on social media. While the duo attempts to heat up TikTok, David Eason is feeling the heat of his multiple court cases. The former Teen Mom 2 star was just ordered to wear an ankle monitor.

David Eason’s new girlfriend is standing by her man. She might trust him with her four-legged friend and her home, but a North Carolina judge doesn’t think he’s trustworthy. While Heatwole was busy posting about her boyfriend being busy with work and how much she loves him, Eason was sitting inside a courtroom for crimes against his former flame.
In Touch learned that during his most recent court appearance, a judge ordered the troubled North Carolina native to wear an ankle monitor. The monitor was ordered to dissuade Eason from going near Jenelle Evans, her children, or her property in North Carolina. The decision stems from an arrest in November. In early November, Eason violated an order of protection by breaking into the property he once lived on with Jenelle Evans. She was not in the state at the time. Eason is expected back in court next month.
How many current court cases does David Eason have?
David Eason spends most of his free time with Kenleigh Heatwole, but he also spends a fair portion inside a courthouse. The former reality TV star has two ongoing criminal cases. He will likely begin navigating his divorce case at the beginning of the year, too.
Eason’s most serious criminal case stems from an October 2023 incident involving Jace Evans. Eason was arrested for child abuse after the teen reported that his stepfather had physically assaulted him. A felony strangulation charge was added at a later date. CPS removed Jace from the home. He returned to his mother in February 2024 after Eason moved out of their shared space.
He was arrested in November 2024 for trespassing and violating the conditions of an order of protection. In early November, Eason appeared at Jenelle Evans’ North Carolina property with a police escort, claiming he needed to gain access to his belongings. He broke the lock, removed a security camera, and attempted to take property that didn’t belong to him. Eason was taken into custody days later. He didn’t have permission to be on the property and was supposed to gather his belongings months earlier.
Eason and Evans also have other issues to sort out in court. The duo can officially file for divorce in February 2025. Evans is expected to file as soon as possible. They also need to work out a custody arrangement for Ensley Eason. Jenelle Evans currently has temporary sole custody of the elementary-aged child. Ensley is the only child Evans and Eason share.
